When supplied, the receiver will start searching for visible satellites. During this phase, the RED LED light is fixedly on. After having identified an adequate number of satellites, the LED will slowly blink. Now, you can enter the coordinates of the finish line simply by pressing the button near the LED when you are crossing the finish line of the track. This operation can be performed both at a halt and when moving. If performed when moving, the system will also acquire the direction of running and it will avoid detecting a false finish line on very narrow tracks (typically Kart or Motocross tracks) where there is a counter straight stretch close to the main straight stretch, but opposite to it. Setup can be also performed at a halt on normal speed tracks. When the finish line is acquired, the LED is blinking quickly. This means that the finish line is within a reach of 5 km. The GPS Receiver will store the finish line coordinates last used even if disconnected. It is necessary to set up a new finish line only when you change the track. Attention: when you restart after having moved a lot of kilometres, the receiver may even take some minutes (5-6) to acquire the satellites and let the LED blink. At the power on, it is always recommended to place the vehicle in an open area where it has got the sky visibility necessary to acquire the GPS signal as quickly as possible. Note: In order to display the acquired Laptimes you must activate the Lap functions on the original dashboard by following the Ducati handbook indications. LED operation RED LED ON FIXED: Receiver searching for satellites RED LED SLOW BLINKING: Satellites properly acquired, press the button on the finish line to set up the end-of-lap. RED LED QUICK BLINKING: Satellites on sight and finish line within a reach of 5Km, the system can detect the crossing of the finish line you have setup.

1 ) POSITION YOUR CUTTING WHEEL AT THE GLUE SEAM BETWEEN THE CLEAR LENS AND THE BLACK PLASTIC HOUSING. SEE “TIPS FOR CUTTING YOUR LENS” BEFORE BEGINNING. 2 ) PROCEED TO CUT INTO THE CLEAR LENS APPROXIMATELY HALF OF THE THICKNESS (DEPTH) OF THE CLEAR LENS, ALL THE WAY AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE LENS – BE SURE NOT TO CUT ALL THE WAY THROUGH BECAUSE IT WILL NOT GLUE BACK TOGETHER PROPERLY. TIPS FOR CUTTING YOUR LENS A) KEEP THE CUTTING WHEEL MOVING AND APPLY LIGHT PRESSURE. SITTING IN ONE SPOT WILL JUST MELT THE PLASTIC. B) TRY TO STAY TIGHT AGAINST THE INSIDE EDGE WHERE THE CLEAR LENS AND THE BLACK BACKING MEET (CUTTING THE CLEAR PART, NOT THE BLACK PART). WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR WAY AROUND THE ENTIRE PERIMETER, CLEAN ALL THE BURRED PLASTIC FROM AROUND THE EDGES AND FROM INSIDE THE GROOVE YOU’VE MADE. OPENING THE LENS 3 ) PLACE THE TIP OF A FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER IN THE GROOVE YOU HAVE CREATED. 4 ) GENTLY TWIST THE SCREWDRIVER TO CRACK THE GLUE ALONG THE GROOVE YOU HAVE CREATED. NOTE: AS SOON AS YOU HEAR THE SOUND OF THE GLUE GIVING (A CRACK), MOVE THE SCREWDRIVER SLIGHTLY AND ADVANCE THE CRACK. SLOW AND STEADY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME HERE. IF YOU FIND A HARD SPOT, WEAKEN IT WITH THE CUTTING WHEEL AS NECESSARY.

STEP #1 – Remove the left panel exposing the battery. STEP #2 – Mount the Powerbar™ on one of the frame members. Almost any frame member will work, you can select the location you like best [C]. STEP #3 – Next remove the negative battery connection, followed by the positive battery connection. Stretch out the wiring harness. Grab the socket end of the harness and start routing the wiring along the frame members toward the back of the bike [A]. Again almost any routing will work, the harness is designed to fit all locations with out any excess slack. Connect the red wire as follows: RED WIRE = BATTERY POSITIVE Tuck the fuse holder into the cavity in front of the battery [B]. Ty-wrap to nearby wiring. Connect the black ground wire to the negative post. STEP #4 – Install the fuse in the fuse-holder. Use a voltmeter to check if the polarity is correct. STEP #5 – Apply the remaining ty-wrap to the frame member that runs to the steering head. Do NOT allow the harness to directly contact the motor or exhaust

It is essential to use Blue Loc-tite on all nuts and bolts. Remove any other steering stabilizers. 2) Cover the tank with an old sweatshirt or protective device so you don’t scratch it. 3) General concept for this mount: The new key cover is the anchor point for the stabilizer, so it must be fitted correctly as per the instructions below. The base of the new key cover must sit flush all the way around to provide the support needed. The bolt lengths are critical, so be sure you read the instructions carefully so you know which bolts go in which spots! 4) Remove the (4) 8x85mm Allen bolts that hold your handlebars tight. There are plastic plugs in the tops of these bolts that must be removed before you can access the Allen head. Replace the stock top barclamp with the one provided in the kit. 5) Tighten the 4 bolts evenly so the gaps between upper and lower perches, front to back, are even. 6) Remove the (2) 6x12mm Allen bolts and the plastic key cover that covers your key switch. 7) Fit the new billet aluminum key cover over the key switch and be sure the new cover is sitting down flush all the way around on the frame. It needs to be touching the frame to function properly. We’ve machined this part to fit precisely on the bike but each bike can vary slightly due to machining variations from the Ducati Factory. The new key cover should center itself by locating on the 2 spacer/nuts underneath. You might need to loosen the 2 bolts on the underside of the frame to allow those spacer/nuts to find their centering point on our key cover. 8) Note: Your stock key switch itself has a casting knub near its base that could restrict our new cover from sitting all the way down flush. We’ve machined a clearance notch inside our part for this knub to fit into, but it is possible it could vary from bike to bike, which might require a bit more clearance filing. Be sure the key cover is sitting down flush against the frame. 9) We’ve machined the key cover to fit over a 20mm spacer nut / .805″. If for some reason the stock “spacer/nuts” are too tall, you may have to file them slightly to allow the Billet key cover to sit down flush and touch the frame. 10) Once the key switch cover is flush against the frame, all the way around it’s base, retighten the bolts that hold the spacer/nuts secure from the under side of the frame using Loc-tite. Reinstall the (2) 6x12mm stock key cover bolts to a maximum of 6-ft/lbs . The stock key cover bolts are designed to engage 6mm of thread in the spacer nut. Do not be tempted to use any longer bolts than 6x12mm or they can prematurely bottom out which will keep the key cover from tightening. Shorter than 6×12 or if the cover is not flush, makes it possible to damage the threads. Double check these key-cover bolts after your first ride, as they may loosen after initial movement from the damper
