It is important for the front seat passengers to know that proper operation of the advanced frontal airbag system is highly dependent on the pressure placed on the seat bottom. Situations that add or subtract sensed weight can result in occupant misclassification. To minimize this situation: Check seating posture. Passengers should be seated upright with their back against the seat back and feet on the floor. Check loading conditions. Extra weight from items, such as bags or groceries or toys, hanging on the seat back can add to the sensed weight of the front seat passenger. A rear seat passenger lifting the front seat with their legs, objects placed under the front seat, or the front seatback in contact with the rear seat can subtract from the sensed weight of the front seat passenger. If the passenger airbag indicator lamp continues to switch ON to OFF after checking the above conditions, perform the following repair procedure. NOTE: The safest place for children is in the rear seat. Please note that Toyota recommends that you never install a rear-facing child restraint in the front passenger seat, even if the passenger “Airbag OFF” lamp is illuminated. Adjustments -Take notice of the position of the compression adjustment 1 ! -Count the amount of clicks by turning the adjustment screw clockwise till fully closed. -Remove the rubber cap out of the axleclamp. -Take notice of the position of the rebound adjustment 2 ! -Count the amount of clicks by turning the adjustment screw clockwise till fully closed. -For the standard position see setting list. Position of the compression and rebound adjustment -Set the rebound position 1 , see KTM-Owners manual. -Assemble the rubber cap. -Set the compression position 2 , see KTM-Owners manual. 1 2 2-22 Repair manual WP Fork “Closed Cartridge” Art.No.: 3.211.199-E Explanation of the spring preload -Total spring length without the spacers, see chapter inspection of the spring! -Spring length with spacers 1 , see setting list. -Spring with the spacers. 1 . -The spring is assembled in the front fork leg. NOTE: Pay attention to the position of the fork legs. Standard riding height! NOTE: The maximum riding height is the level of the second groove! -Tighten the middle bolt of the lower triple clamp to a torque of 17 Nm! -Tighten the first bolt of the lower triple clamp to a torque of 17 Nm! -Tighten the third bolt of the lower triple clamp to a torque of 17 Nm!

Check the power, ground, and TX+, TX- wiring between the RSE ECU and the display. Perform the following check without disconnecting any connectors. A. Using the EWD, check the resistance of the wires between the DVD player ground terminal or integrated DVD player/RSE display and chassis ground. The resistance of the wires should be below 1 Ω. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS): applicable model year Wiring Diagrams. B. Check the resistance of the wires between the RSE ECU ground terminal and chassis ground. The resistance of the wires should be below 1 Ω. C. Check the voltage on the power terminals on the DVD player and the RSE ECU. Voltage should be greater than 12 V. D. Check the voltage between terminals TX+ and chassis ground and TX- and chassis ground at both the RSE ECU and the DVD player. Voltage should be between 2.0 V and 3.0 V Check the resistance of the wires between the RSE ECU and the radio/player. The resistance of the wires should be below 1Ω. C. Check the resistance of the wires between the RSE ECU and the radio/player to ground. The resistance of the wires should be 10 kΩ or higher

NOTE: Use the same procedure for the LH side as the RH side. 1. Place the window in the down position. 2. Remove the window run. Completely remove the double-sided tape remaining on the frame. 3. Thoroughly clean the door frame using a white body shop towel and Kent Acrysol. NOTE: Do NOT use red shop towels. These towels contain silicone. 4. Install the door glass window run. A. Position the glass run at the No. 2 and No. 3 corners of the door frame and then attach the middle part of the run. B. Insert the glass run into the window run channels. NOTE: Do NOT apply water or lubricant to the glass run when inserting it into the door. Make sure the glass run fits securely into the holes of the door frame

Please see your Toyota dealer for a copy of this document. 1. Remove Running Board from Packaging. (a) Remove running board assembly from package and place on a clean protected surface. The boards are sided (Fig. 1-1) (b) Verify kit contents and inspect the running board for damage. 2. Running Board Preparation for Installation (LH/RH Side). (a) Verify hardware bag content by referring to the cover page of this instruction sheet. (b) Loosen the 1/4 – 20 flange nuts at each of the three (3) bracket locations on each running board. (Fig. 2-1) (c) With a small slotted screwdriver, remove the plastic plugs covering M8 weld nuts in body of vehicle at 6 points/side.

Install the SST to the piping clamp. SST: 09870-00015 HINT: Confirm the direction of the piping clamp claw and the SST using the illustration shown on the caution label. B. Push down the SST and release the clamp lock. NOTE: Be careful not to deform the tube when pushing the SST. C. Pull the SST slightly and push the release lever. Then remove the piping clamp with the SST. D. Remove the piping clamp from the SST. E. Disconnect the cooler refrigerant suction hose No. 1. NOTE: Disconnect the tube by hand only. Do not pry the tube apart. Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system

Adjusting the spring preload NOTE: the spring preload is the difference between the unloaded and preloaded length of the spring. -Tighten the adjusting nut 4 with the special tool T106 until you have the prescribed spring preload. -Tighten the lock screw on the adjusting nut.
