Located in the Haute Savoie region of Eastern France, Rotronics has been designing and manufacturing engine and chassis dynamometers since 1990. Data acquisition technology, initially developed for high level competition, has been continually evolving with respect to the needs both of the motorcycle rider and the specialist. Today, a motorcycle dynamometer is increasingly part of a professional establishment. It is a very effective diagnostic tool for the service engineer, considerably reducing the need for road testing and proven to be very commercially effecive, notably in the context of second hand vehicles. Reduced risk, less lost time, a credible and efficient workshop, an increased range of services and improved client confidence : a dynamometer stimulates your business. MOTOSCAN II is comprised of totally modular elements. This exclusive design allows great flexibility in the installation and extension of the test facility. Available as a free-standing or built-in version, with an automatic (optional) or manual front wheel support, with or without supplementary engine load, the chosen configuration can always be extended. The test bed can be transformed at will, according to the users budget or needs. Hence it is very simple to upgrade the «Lite» version to the automatic one; more frequently a permanently built- in model is converted to one that is free-standing when demanded by reoganisation of business premises or workshop (relocation, restructuring, change of activity…). MOTOSCAN II is compatible with all types of motorcycle : tourers, motocross, trials, enduro, sports… Moreover, the test procedures specific to mopeds and to scooters allow methodical adjustment of the automatic transmission thanks to characteristic operating curves.

“Our focus is on delivering a motorcycle that fits the needs of the new market. It seems that so many companies are trying to revamp their line by adding a sixth gear. We’re taking the gears completely out of the equation and letting riders get back to actually riding”, said Clay Ridley about the effort his company has directed towards their new product line. Several new unique features are creating interest among Ridley Riders on the company’s riders forum, one of which is a parking brake. “We take comments from the owners of our motorcycles very, very seriously. Ridley Riders have asked for a parking brake for added security”, commented Jay Ridley, Vice President for the company. Added to the long list of improvements for the new year model is the new “2 Year Plus” factory warranty which offers twenty-five months of factory backed warranty. According to Ridley, this new warranty exceeds coverage provided by most other domestic manufacturer’s. One more reason Ridley believes 2008 will be the company’s best selling year model. With the holiday season fast approaching, Ridley Motorcycle felt the introduction of the new models would have more impact if held back until the middle of November. For Ridley, the holiday season means big business. Several of Ridley’s dealers have reported higher sales in December than in May. The company attributed this to their market which is nearly divided in half among men and women.

Date: 02-10-10 POWER STEERING CONVERSION TOYOTA LAND CRUISER SPECIAL NOTE: The components packaged in this kit have been assembled and machined for specific type of conversions. Modifications to any of the components will void any possible warranty or return privileges. If you do not fully understand modifications or changes that will be required to complete your conversion, we strongly recommend that you contact our sales department for more information. This instruction sheet is only to be used for the assembly of Advance Adapter components. We recommend that a service manual pertaining to your vehicle be obtained for specific torque values, wiring diagrams and other related equipment. These manuals are normally available at automotive dealerships and parts stores. Installation Tips We recommend Weldless DD and Double Splined universal joints for the best steering system. Weldless DD universal joint features two set screws for maximum holding power. Position yoke, tighten set screws to mark the shaft. Remove yoke and drill the set point on the shaft. When installing the universal joint, set screws are tightened into the countersink mark, then tighten the jam nut and the shaft will not move. We recommend the use of Loctite. Spline both ends (3/4″-36) universal joint is the preferred design, as it allows the shaft to be rotated in small increments during installation to properly align or phase the steering system. The same installation procedure as the Weldless DD should be used, or it is acceptable to simply grind a flat surface on the spline to let the set screw.

think it’s safe to say that none of us expected the newest incarnation of the ZX-12R – the Ninja ZX-14 – to look the way it does. Since its announcement in September 2005 Bikeland’s members questioned the ZX-14′s looks, its performance, its overall size and weight. In fact members have questioned pretty much everything about the ZX-14 from its George Foreman Grill RF900′esque strakes to the omission of the letter “R” in the model name. For months there has been little to do but wait, ponder, discuss, dissect and speculate about this bike. Kawasaki has remained amazingly tight lipped about the ZX-14 and its potential performance. I feel fortunate that Kawasaki has valued our members’ input throughout all these years enough to invite Bikeland to the World Press Introduction, and for that all of you should feel honored. This is a level of recognition we never expected when freek and I first sat down and decided to build the website. I don’t think that the membership of this site realizes the amount of work the staff at KMC have put into this event, and the birth of this model. The last two years have been an eye opening experience for all of us at Bikeland as we have had a front row seat (whether we knew it or not) to watch and participate in the creation of a brand new motorcycle. As your direct representative at this event I had some serious business to attend to. When I found out from Kawasaki that we could include a second rider from Bikeland, the choice was daunting. So many of you have contributed your thoughts and feelings, your technical knowledge and your expertise that we didn’t really know if there could be a single “right choice”. The decision was difficult but after much deliberating we asked MadMike to accompany me to this introduction, and our reasoning was purposeful

The customer (individual requiring the extender) must visit a Toyota dealership to have the required measurements made and to complete the seat belt extender worksheet. The worksheet will allow the proper fitting and selection of a seat belt extender for the customer. The dealership personnel should then determine the applicable part number and place a Critical Order through the TDN Parts Network. The dealership service department should complete the affixed Seat Belt Extender Label and review the “owner instruction sheet” with the customer. The dealership should give a copy of the completed worksheet to the customer and keep the original in the customer’s file. To assure utmost owner satisfaction, it is recommended that a dealership designate one person to coordinate all activities related to the seat belt extender issue. From past sales history, it is recommended that dealerships do not stock Seat belt extenders due to low demand and the need for customer fitting
