INSTALLATION To prevent accidental vehicle start-up, which could cause death or serious injury, disconnect negative (-) battery cable before proceeding. (00048a) To prevent accidental vehicle start-up, which could cause death or serious injury, remove main fuse before proceeding. (00251b) 1. Refer to the service manual and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable or remove the main fuse. NOTE Make sure that the cutout (B) of the strap (3) is oriented to the rear of the motorcycle after installation. 2. See Figure 2. Install strap (3) and weld nut (4) to the frame in the locations shown. 3. Position the center display stand over the mounting holes under the frame, oriented so that the skid plate faces for- ward. 4. Apply a small amount of Loctite 271 – Red to the two long screws (1) and secure the rear of the display stand to the frame by installing the two screw to the strap. 5. Apply a small amount of Loctite 271 – Red to the short screw (2) and secure the front of the display stand to the frame by installing the screw to the weld nut. 6. Chrome Display Stand Foot Orientation ADJUSTING THE DISPLAY STAND The left and right feet of the display stand are independently adjustable to vertically level the vehicle with the display stand extended. To adjust the display stand: NOTE The display stand can be adjusted with rear tire to ground contact or with rear tire off the ground. With the rear tire to ground contact adjustment, the rear wheel is on the ground but enough weight is on the display stand legs to make the motorcycle stable from side-to-side and front-to-back. Using the display stand to center the motorcycle will require effort. With the rear tire off the ground adjustment, the rear tire clears the ground so tire can be rotated for cleaning or maintenance purposes. Using the display stand to lift rear tire off the ground will require more effort. Do not center the vehicle with someone on the vehicle. To reduce effort, remove stored items from saddlebags, if equipped

Unlike other center stands, the WHEELDOCK EZ UP stand requires very little effort to operate and can usually be done while still on the bike by simply pushing down on the foot lever with your left foot. Once you feel both feet of the center stand in contact with the ground, transfer your weight up off of the seat and onto the foot lever of the center stand. The stand should rotate under the bike and a bit forward lifting the bike quite easily. CAUTION: Never attempt to raise the bike with a passenger on board, as you will damage the foot lever. You can also raise the bike on the center stand by using the following traditional method: Place the bike on the side stand and step off to the side. From the left side of the bike, push the bike up to the vertical position and press down on the foot lever until both feet of the stand are in contact with the ground. Now apply weight to the foot lever while lifting up on the bike. For cleaning the rear wheel: first place a ½-inch piece of plywood under the stand and use this (beside the bike) method for placing the bike up on the plywood spacer; this will allow the wheel to rotate freely for cleaning. Do not try this while on the bike, as it will require too much foot pressure on the lever. You now have two options to get the bike off of the stand: You can simply rock the bike forward, or put the bike in gear and drive off in most cases as long as you are parked on a flat, level surface. Tips for solving common questions: If you have the correct height stand and you still have difficulty getting the bike up on the stand check the following: the bike must be in neutral, the wheel should be straight forward and not cocked, do not hold the front brake lever and make sure you have 15 lb or more air pressure in the rear suspension. These are the most common problems we encounter

Relocation of Regulator. Laying under the right side of the motorcycle, locate the voltage regulator. (finned aluminum box-approximately 3″x 4″) Note: See photo #1 – regulator already relocated. Remove the (2) 10 mm bolts attaching the regulator to the frame. Attach the bracket supplied to the regulator as shown. Using the original bolts, attach the regulator and bracket assembly to the frame as shown in photo #1 using the two 10 mm bolts supplied. Clamping Centerstand to Frame . Notice the centerstand is shipped with (2) white plastic washers. Note: See photo #2-A These are in place to overcome the spring tension or lock the stand in place and allow you to pivot the lower stand down partially to make installation easier. Pivot the upper stand about half way from the retracted to the extended (down) position. Note: This will require some force. If the stand will not stay in the position you can further tighten the two 9/16″ pivot nuts. Remove the bolts from the four band clamps. Wrap the (2) small clamps around the small upper frame tube and start the bolts so that the bolt will be at the bottom of the tube and the wrench head facing towards the rear of the motorcycle. Note: See photo #2. Center the stand on the frame from side to side so as to gain even clearance between the feet on the centerstand and the rear tire when the stand is in the retracted position. Holding the larger cradle up against the frame, tighten the (2) small clamps enough to hold the centerstand in place. Install one of the large clamps as shown in photo #3-A. Install the 2nd large clamp as shown in photo #2-C. Again retract the stand and check that the feet have even amounts of space from the side of the rear tire. Tighten the flour clamps securely 5-7 ft. lbs. Next remove the (2) 9/16″ pivot nuts and the white plastic washers as shown in photo #2-A. Re-install and tighten the 9/16″ pivot nuts securely 8-12 ft lbs. With the stand in the retracted position-adjust the stop bolt and lock nut, see photo #3-B, so that the stand is parallel with the ground and does not come in contact with any parts of the motorcycle. Using your new centerstand . To put the motorcycle up onto the centerstand, hold the left handle bar and saddlebag guard rail or grab under the bottom of the seat. Using the ball of your right foot, lower the stand to the ground. Rock the motorcycle from side to side slightly until you feel both feet of the stand touching the ground. Now put all of your weight onto the centerstand pedal (stand on it). Pull up and back on the grab rail or seat using a rocking motion to rock the motorcycle up onto the stand. Remember it is a matter of using your body weight and leverage not lifting!

1. Always inspect the lift for freight damage and make note of any damage on the bill of lading. 2. In case of freight damage, call the truck line immediately and report the damage as a freight claim. Final Set-Up for model Pro-Cycle This lift is more than 90% factory pre-assembled. The following steps will guide you through the final set-up. IT WOULD BE EASIER FOR TWO MEN TO COMPLETE FOLLOWING STEPS. 1. Unpack the lift from the shipping skid. With the lift table up side down, connect the air hose to the air cylinder (Part # 26). 2. After tightening the hose to the cylinder, flip the lift over with the table surface up. 5 3. Lift up the table manually to the first lock position to make sure the lift is rising freely. Lubricateing the joints again before use will ensure a better performance of the lift. 4. Connect the other end of the air hose to the foot-operated valve. Then connect the foot- operated valve to 100 PSI air supply. DO NOT USE AIR SUPPLY WITH PRESSURE MORE THAN 100 PSI. 5. Release the safety bar by pushing the handle down. Operate the foot valve by stepping on the footpad forward to raise the lift. The safety bar should engage the ladder automatically while lift is rising. Step on the footpad again to set the pad in middle position to stop the lift when it reaches the desired height. ALWAYS LOWER LIFT IN THE NEAREST LOCKED POSITION BEFORE BEGINNING WORK. NEVER USE THE LIFT UNLESS YOU ARE IN A LOCKED POSITION. The lift should never be left unattended while attached to air pressure. Disconnect the air pressure when lift is not attended by qualified persons. 6. Install the vise using bolts and nuts supplied with the lift (part # 6 to 12). See fig #1. 7. Install the approach ramp by dropping it into the holes punched on the rear edge of the table. REMOVAL NOTE This Instruction Sheet covers several different Harley-Davidson models and years. Be sure to locate and follow the procedures that apply to the motorcycle receiving the new guard. For Models without Lower Fairings 1. Proceed to For All Models section. For Model FLHTCUI (Ultra Classic Electra Glide) with Factory-Installed Lower Fairings 1. Remove the lower fairings following the instructions in the appropriate Service Manual. 2. When the lower fairings have been removed, proceed to For All Models section. For Models FLHR/I (Road King), FLHT (Electra Glide Standard) or FLHTC/I (Electra Glide Classic) with Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessory Lower Fairings 1. See Figure 1. Remove the two black screws (1) that attach the fairing cap (2) to the lower fairing (5). Remove the cap. Set the parts aside for re-installation. 2. Remove the screw (7), rubber washer (8) and locknut (10) and the clamp (9) that attaches the bottom of the lower fairing to the engine guard and set aside. 3. Remove the two locknuts (3), U-bolt (6) and U-bolt retainer (4). 4. Remove the lower fairing by sliding it out from behind the engine guard. 5. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for the opposite side. 6. Proceed to For All Models section. For Model FLTR/I (Road Glide) with Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessory Lower Fairings Disconnect negative (-) battery cable first. If positive (+) cable should contact ground with negative (-) cable connected, the resulting sparks can cause a battery explosion, which could result in death or serious injury. (00049a) 1. Disconnect the battery, negative (-) battery cable first, following the instructions in the appropriate Service Manual. 2. Remove the seat following the instructions in the appropriate Service Manual. 3. Remove the cable strap holding the clutch cable to the engine guard. 4. See Figure 2. Remove the TORX screw (8), rubber washer (9) and locknut (11) and the clamp (10) that attaches the bottom of the lower fairing (4) to the engine guard and set aside INSTALLATION 1. Hold the engine guard in position, and loosely fasten the top of the guard with the new hex socket screw and flat washer from the kit. 2. Install the bottom brackets to the motorcycle frame with the two new TORX screws and locknuts. 3. Tighten all three screws to 15-20 ft-lbs (20.3-27.1 Nm) . For Model FLHTCUI (Ultra Classic Electra Glide) with Factory-Installed Lower Fairings 1. Install the lower fairings following the instructions in the appropriate Service Manual. For Models FLHR/I (Road King), FLHT (Electra Glide Standard) or FLHTC/I (Electra Glide Classic) with Harley- Davidson Genuine Motor Accessory Lower Fairings 1. Carefully place one lower fairing in position from behind the engine guard. 2. See Figure 1. Install the lower fairing to the top of the new engine guard with the U-bolt (6) from the back, through the holes at the top of the fairing. Install the retainer (4) in position on the U-bolt and secure to the engine guard with the two locknuts (3). Do not tighten the locknuts at this time. 3. Attach the bottom of the fairing to the engine guard with the clamp (9) removed earlier. Install the clamp around the engine guard in the direction shown, with the tabs toward the rear of the vehicle and the flat side of the clamp against the lower fairing. Insert the screw (7) through the lower fairing, rubber washer (8) and clamp (9). Secure the assembly with the locknut (10). Tighten to 12 ft-lbs (16.3 Nm) .

1. Using your 5/16″ allen wrench, unscrew the Cap head allen bolts attaching the stock passenger floorboard mount to the frame and remove the assembly. You will reinstall this assembly once the mounts have been installed. STOCK MOUNT FEATURES: Notice the floorboard mount has a locating pin that protrudes from the rear surface. This pin is what keeps the mount from swiveling on the frame. The frame has three threaded holes and one unthreaded hole on each side. These holes provide the three different floorboard heights the bike offers stock. HEIGHT POSITIONS: The Comfort Kit mounts provide you the ability to raise the stock floorboards height 1-1/4″ or 2″ higher than the highest stock position. This is accomplished by attaching the mounts to the specific combinations of the threaded holes on the frame. POSITION #1 – Raises the floorboards 2″ by attaching the mounts to the #1 & #2 threaded holes from the top. NOTE: You must use the rectangular spacer block in order to use the 2″ rise position in order to clear the right exhaust pipe. POSITION #2 – Raises the height 1-1/4″ by attaching the mounts to the #2 & #3 thread holes from the top. TILTING: You will notice one threaded and one unthreaded hole towards the top of each mount and directly between these holes is an engraved L & R. These mounts are Left and Right side specific. The locating pin mentioned in the stock mount features paragraph inserts into the unthreaded hole and locks the floorboard into its tilted position.

Fuel Gauge Fuel Gauge indicates the remaining fuel in the fuel tank (the gauge does not work when main switch is in the “OFF” position). The gauge moves from “F”(full) to “E” (empty) as fuel decreases in the fuel tank. Fill the tank with 90 Octane or higher gasoline when the needle is approaching the “E” position. There is no reserve tank. Indicating Lamp of High beam It indicates high beam is in use. Note: apply low beam to avoid obstructing the view of oncoming drivers and drivers ahead. 1. Speedometer 2. Fuel Gauge Instrument Control Main Switch NOTE: – Do not leave the main switch in “ON” position for an extended period of time when the engine is stopped. The battery may drain itself empty. – Lock the steering and remove the key after park to avoid theft. “ON” Position: Electric Circuits are switched on. The engine can now be started. The key can not be removed in this position. “OFF” Position: All electrical circuits are switched off. The engine stops. The key can be removed in this position. “LOCK” Position: The steering is locked when in this position. The key can be removed. Steering Lock Turn the handle bar fully to the left to lock the steering to prevent theft. Push the key in when it is in “OFF” position and while pushing the key in, turn the switch to “LOCK” position to lock the steering. Pull the key out once you are done

REAK-IN PERIOD The ProStart clutch requires a short break-in period. During the break-in period, the ProStart should not be operated at steady engine speeds above 3000 RPMs for more than 10 minutes. Breaking-in the ProStart clutch equires start and stop cycles. Riding the ProStart clutch in stop-and-go city traffic for one hour will provide sufficient break-in. If you would like to accelerate the break-in period, find an empty parking lot with ample room and no other traffic. From a stop, bring the motorcycle to 20 miles per hour and then back to a stop. Repeat this process at least 20 times. MAINTENANCE Proper maintenance is important to ensure the longevity of the Rekluse ProStart clutch and the rest of the stock clutch components in your Harley- Davidson Motorcycle. Refer to your owner’s manual for proper primary chaincase oil levels and oil type. Rekluse recommends the use of Harley- Davidson Primary Chaincase lubricant with the Rekluse ProStart clutch. Do not use oils designed for use as automotive engine oil in your Primary Chaincase. If Harley-Davidson Primary Chaincase lubricant is not readily available, a premium-quality Diesel engine oil, such as Shell Rotella T, that does not contain friction modifiers may be substituted. Inspection and adjustment of the Rekluse ProStart clutch should only be performed by a service center trained in Harley-Davidson and Rekluse ProStart repair and maintenance. The Rekluse ProStart clutch should be inspected for adjustment after 1,000 miles of operation. Thereafter, inspection for adjustment should be performed at 5,000 mile intervals
