That’s why Toyota has created the innovative Body & Paint Preferred Partner Programme. Having tested a wide range of Body & Paint repair products, Toyota has selected a number of companies whose products are of the highest calibre and offer superior results, and who offer reliable, Europe-wide distribution and support. It recommends that all Toyota Authorised Repairers across Europe use products supplied by these companies. They are of course free to choose which supplier they work with from this list of recommendations. Whilst Toyota has negotiated competitive parameters with each partner, exact contract details should be agreed between the partner and the Toyota Authorised Repairer. The programme allows savings made to be reinvested into further improvement of Body & Paint activities

1. Appliances . Carefully review the appliance manufacturer’s installation instructions for positioning the unit, any special venting or connector requirements, and verify that it is a Category I appliance or an appliance that requires the use of Type B gas vent. 2. Placement . The placement of the vent and fittings must be in accordance with Local Codes, as well as accepted venting practices. If more than one appliance is to be connected to one venting system, the common vent must be correctly sized. It is a good idea to make a sketch of the proposed installation, labelling the components you will need. Adjustable Pipe Lengths are available to make up odd lengths. Minimize the number of turns and lateral runs, as the National Fuel Gas Code places limitations on these. A 45° turn is preferable to a 90° turn. The appliance reference material should be consulted at this time, as well as any Local Authority having jurisdiction. In most localities, building permits are required for any new appliances, or modifications to existing venting systems.
3 3. Figures 1 , 2, & 3 show examples of some typical residential installations . 4. Clearance to Combustibles . A 1-inch clearance (air space) to combustible materials must be maintained , when using Simpson Dura-Vent Round B- Vent, regardless of the pipe diameter. 5. Combustion Air . Refer to appliance installation instructions and local building codes to ensure compliance with required volume of combustion air for each appliance installed . 6. Slope . If the venting system contains lateral (horizontal) components, they shall be positioned so they have an upwards slope away from the appliance of not less than 1/4- inch rise per foot of run. (Horizontal vent installed in attics, unconditioned area, or between floors have further restrictions, please consult your local building codes for specific limitations.)

YZ450F Engine Reshaped intake ports The YZ450F’s innovative 5-valve cylinder head design is one of the most sophisticated in the category, and plays a vital role in enabling this high-tech MX bike maintain its well-documented superiority on the race track. For 2008 the combustion efficiency of this advanced cylinder head is further improved with the introduction of reshaped intake ports which enhance the bike’s low to mid-range performance. New exhaust camshaft profile Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. Page 5 of 33
In order to optimise the significant performance gains of the new intake port design, the latest YZ450F’s 5-valve cylinder head is equipped with new camshafts featuring reshaped Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. Page 6 of 33
profiles. The inlet valve timing has been adjusted, the overlap is modified and exhaust lift is revised to create an idealised balance of intake and exhaust operations for increased combustion efficiency and improved performance in the important low to mid-range zone. Reduced piston clearance The YZ450F powerplant is already one of the most advanced 4-stroke engine designs in the MX world, featuring cutting-edge technology which gives it a real advantage. Extensive use of lightweight materials has enabled Yamaha to create a light, compact and high-revving engine which produces a remarkably wide band of hard hitting power – and for 2008 our engineers have further reduced cylinder/piston tolerances of the 95mm diameter piston in order to enhance the overall package. These reductions may only be measurable in terms of microns, yet the differences are most definitely tangible, and include increased torque output, smoother running and quieter operation. New 94dB silencer Complying with the new FIM94dB(A) regulations is a new stainless steel silencer which maintains the machine’s strong low to mid-range power output, while reducing overall noise.

“Our focus is on delivering a motorcycle that fits the needs of the new market. It seems that so many companies are trying to revamp their line by adding a sixth gear. We’re taking the gears completely out of the equation and letting riders get back to actually riding”, said Clay Ridley about the effort his company has directed towards their new product line. Several new unique features are creating interest among Ridley Riders on the company’s riders forum, one of which is a parking brake. “We take comments from the owners of our motorcycles very, very seriously. Ridley Riders have asked for a parking brake for added security”, commented Jay Ridley, Vice President for the company. Added to the long list of improvements for the new year model is the new “2 Year Plus” factory warranty which offers twenty-five months of factory backed warranty. According to Ridley, this new warranty exceeds coverage provided by most other domestic manufacturer’s. One more reason Ridley believes 2008 will be the company’s best selling year model. With the holiday season fast approaching, Ridley Motorcycle felt the introduction of the new models would have more impact if held back until the middle of November. For Ridley, the holiday season means big business. Several of Ridley’s dealers have reported higher sales in December than in May. The company attributed this to their market which is nearly divided in half among men and women.

Honda CRF/ TRX 450R Camshaft Installation

Break-in of this camshaft is important and you should adhere to all of the following instructions. It is also very important to use plenty of engine assembly lubricant, recommended is Coastal Engine Assembly Lube or Clevite 77, both are available from most automotive supply companies. We recommend you change the engine oil before the initial start-up of the engine after the assembly. Then change the oil again after the break-in of the cams to remove the excess
phosphate from the coated cams. These steps will help ensure that the camshaft breaks-in properly and that you have a long lasting product. Using full synthetic engine oil during break-in is not recommended but, is OK to use after the one-hour break-in period is over. Following a regular maintenance schedule is the best way to ensure durability and performance over the long run. Cleanliness is always a good place to start. Make sure the motorcycle is cleaned thoroughly before you start. It would be advisable to use an engine degreaser on the frame and the engine. Remove the fuel tank and thoroughly clean the inside of the frame rails, around the carburetor, and behind the radiators. Be sure to remove the ignition coil assembly and using high-pressure air, clean the spark plug hole out before the plug is removed. This will ensure a clean engine during the assembly process and less of a chance of thread damage and/or dirt contamination in the engine during reassembly

1965 Shelby Cobra FIA Daytona Replica specifications

Color: Blue (dark) Odometer: 196 Miles Transmission: Manual LHD/RHD: LHD Convertible: No Listed under categories: 1950-69 Post-War, Race/Track/Rally Country: United States State/ Province: OH City/ Town: MENTOR Zip/ Postal Code: 44060 Description: It’samazinghowmuch fuss six little cars can make. Six cars designed bya 24 year old art school graduate, in 1964, were enough to turn FIA racing upside down. The bodies turned out to be golden, the chassis were proven and the will to win was provided by a certain Texan who you may have heard of. More than forty years later the power of the Shelby Cobra Daytona’s triumph is still celebrated by small volume builders making replicas of the car that conquered Europe. Many people consider these modern replicas to be”kit cars,”but where an outfit like Highland Daytona Racing is concerned, the cars released are anything but boxes of parts. Highland sells only turnkey cars, built to customer specifications and a very high standard. This gorgeous car here, resplendent in the classic blue and white paint scheme, runs and drives extremely well, goes like stink thanks toits traditional small block Fordengine—just like the originals. The car is also titled as a ’65 Shelby—no state issued, generic or random year tags here! The original six Daytona Cobra Coupe factory racers enjoyed a short but impressive racing career: Originally built for the 1964-65 racing season using 289 Shelby Cobra roadster chassis, these were America’sanswerto Ferrari’shighly successful 250 GTO. In their first year of competition, the Daytona Coupes won the GT class at Sebringandthen placed 4thoverallat Le Mans. They proved to be so competitive that Ferrariofficials, fearing a loss of the championship, managed to get the Monza, Italy final round cancelled, knowing the Daytonaswouldwin the race and the Championship. Consequently, Ferrariclaimed the 1964 FIA World Manufacturer’sChampionship. The following year Enzo Ferrari, realizing he would lose to the Daytona’s, pulled his factory support from the GT program, paving the way for the Daytona Coupe walkover. In 1965, the ex-Shelby Daytona Coupes of the UK’sAlanMannracing team won the FIA’s World Manufacturer’s GT title with ease. Everyone knows Cobra roadster replicas are great fun fora quick sprint on a sunny day, but the new crop of Daytona Coupe replicas presents anew concept: Cobra clones for serious long-distance touring. Many enthusiasts attend cruise nights, car club tours, and marathon events like the Hot Rod Power Tour and the One Lap of America. But as fun as roadsters are, withmega-power and rock-solid suspension, the smile factor can wear a little thin after an hour or soon the straight and narrow.
