1. Remove the following fairing components per the instructions in the Ducati owners manual: • Instrument surrounds • Headlight fairing • Chin fairing (under headlight/air intake) • Right-side middle fairing (covers battery) 2. Disconnect the speedometer cable from the speedometer. Unthread the ring nut at the top of the speedometer cable and retract the cable downward about 4-6 inches. 3. Disconnect the headlight wiring from the headlight bulbs. Retract the rubber boots at the rear of the headlight assembly to gain access to the wire terminals. Note that the two ¼ inch terminals at the high- beam bulb have locking clips that should be depressed before pulling the terminal away from the bulb. 4. Unplug the parking light from the headlight body by grasping the wires and carefully pulling it out. 5. Remove the two rubber plugs covering the lower headlight mounting screw access holes beneath the air intake horn. 6. Using an 8mm hex socket inserted through the lower access holes remove the two hex-head bolts securing the bottom of the headlight to the frame. 7. Using the same socket wrench, remove the two 8mm hex-head bolts securing the top of the headlight assembly to the frame. 8. Remove the headlight assembly from the frame. 9. Remove the two rubber grommets and steel reducing sleeves from the frame at the top mounting locations for the headlight. Leave the lower pair in place; these will be re-used, as shown in Figure 6

Thoroughly clean off any dirt and fingerprints on the headlight bulb using a cloth moistened with alcohol or thinner. 5. Install the bulb cover, and then connect the coupler. 6. Step 1 •Prior to installation it is recommended that you perform a Pre-Function check. To do so, remove the left side battery cover from the bike and expose the post terminals. Hold the positive red lead from the turn signal to the positive red lead of the battery and then place the negative black lead from the turn signal to the negative black lead of the battery. Do one side at a time and ensure that both sides light prior to installation. Step 2 •Remove seat (passenger too if installed) •Remove fender “eyelashes” (required first if passenger seat is installed) •Remove the fender mounting bolts •Disconnect the rear turn signal and taillight harness connector located in the battery box compartment •Remove the fender by gentle prying outward and upward on one side to clear the mounting points, then the other side •Set aside on a flat and smooth surface to protect the fender’s finish (you may want to wrap it in a large towel) Step 3 •Turn the rear fender assembly upside down on a stable and covered/protected surface to prevent damaging the fender/paint •Remove the rear tail assembly and disconnect the wiring harness and license plate light. THIS PART IS NO LONGER NEEDED! Victory Vegas Rear LED Turn Signal Assembly Installation Guide •Remove the stock metal spacers shown below and replace them with the ¼” rubber spacers included in your accessory/installation kit. Step 4 •Place the turn signal assembly mounting arms over the rubber spacers. Align the turn signal in place so the space between the fender and the turn signal tube is consistent. After completing this step, place a small amount of Loc-Tite to the bolt and slowly tighten the stock nuts snugly in place, (extreme over-tightening may damage turn signal or fender lip). You should not need to loosen the mounting arms which are attached to the turn signal bracket to obtain the ideal fit; they are pre-assembled to be aligned. Please also note that due to manufacturing tolerances in the production of the fender, the rolled inner lip of it may interfere with the turn signal assembly seating properly. If this is the case, the lip can be tapped down flush with a rubber mallet or other appropriate tool. Take the necessary precautions to maintain your fender’s finish should this step be necessary. Step 5 •Run the wiring of the turn signal assembly in an appropriate/desireable path to the stock wiring harness. See picture below as an example. Once the wires are run, cut any excess wire and install the bullet connectors (included in the installation/accessory package) to the end of the wires. Due to the small gauge of the wire it’s suggested that you double it over before placing it into the bullet connector and solder it in place. Wire as follows:

The included 3600-SWHA switch harness is intended for use with offroad models that do not come with a Hi/Low beam switch from the factory. The harness is compatable with stock AC lighting electrical systems as well as high output DC electrical systems. 1. Remove the stock numberplate or headlight. Remove the stock kill switch from handlebars and replace with the 3600-SWHA switch. 2. Remove the gas tank. Route the white and black leads from the 3600-SWHA under the tank following the wires from the stock kill switch. Disconnect the stock kill switch bullet and connect the white wire of the 3600-SWHA to the wiring harness. Disconnect the stock kill switch ring terminal and connect the ring terminal of the 3600-SWHA. Fully remove the stock kill switch. Be sure all the wires are safe from being burned or pinched and re-install the gas tank. 3. Disconnect the two female spade terminals from the stock headlight switch (if present). Connect the terminal with the yellow wire to the red power lead from the switch. Connect the white wire to the blue accessory output from the switch. Be sure the clear silicone sleeves are covering the stock plastic housings. 4. Connect the X2 headlight to the switch headlight plug. Note: The stock headlight plug will not be used for the X2 installation, but is still functional for connecting the stock headlight. The stock plug will turn on and off with the new headlight switch, and will be powered in either of the Low or High Beam positions

CABLE ROUTING SPEC AProperly insert the meter assembly coupler and rubber boot into the meter assembly. BRoute the meter assembly lead through the left side of the headlight housing. CThe speedometer lead with not be tighten. DInstall the headlight relays onto the headlight housing bridge. EConnect to the right front turn signal connectors. FRoute the turn signal leads upper the headlight housing boss. 1 Clutch cable 2 Left handlebar switch lead 3 Starter cable 4 Main switch lead 5 Steering cover EB206000 CABLE ROUTING -21- NRoute the thermo switch/temperature sender sub- wire harness to the outside of the radiator cap. ORoute the right handlebar switch lead behind the throttle cables. Do not cross the throttle cables and the right handlebar switch lead. PRoute the right handlebar switch lead in front of the throttle cables. GFasten the headlight lead with a plastic clamp at white tape mark. HFasten the wire harness to the headlight housing boss with a plastic locking tie. IRoute the headlight lead through the plastic guide. JRoute the throttle cable to the front side of the brake hose. KRoute the clutch cable behind the front fork leg. LMake sure that the horn leads face out. MRoute the throttle cables and right handlebar switch lead between the lower bracket and steering cover. CABLE ROUTING SPEC -22- CRoute the rollover-valve-to-fuel-tank hose to the inside of the fuel hose (California only). DRoute the coolant reservoir breather hose over the timing chain tensioner. EInsert the plastic clip through the hole in the plastic frame panel and then fasten the wire harness and coolant reservoir breather hose with it. FRoute the clutch cable between the radiator bracket and frame and in front of the thermostat assembly breather hose. GRoute the clutch cable to the inside of the radiator inlet hose. HInsert the plastic clamp into the hole in the coolant reservoir’s tab

Remove the seat from the motorcycle.2. Lift the ignition module off of the battery cover and let it drape over the side of the motorcycle. 3. Remove the battery cover and disconnect the negative battery cable. 4. Remove the gas tank and set it aside. There is a vent line at the right rear of the tank, a vacuum line and the gas feed line on the left side of the tank at the petcock, and two speedometer connectors at the left front of the gas tank. 5. Remove the clip from the top of the steering head cover and remove the right hand side cover. See picture at right. 6. Remove the headlight to expose the wiring connectors inside the headlight shell. 7. Remove the left-hand side cover. On the left side of the frame is an electrical wire shroud wire tied to the left side of the frame with a reusable wire tie. Inside this cover is the 3-pin connector that connects the ignition switch to the bike’s wiring harness. Pull the small lever back to release the wire tie and remove the wire tie. Pull back the wire shroud to reveal the wire connectors inside. Disconnect the 3-pin connector that comes from the ignition switch. Remove the two bolts holding the ignition switch to the bike’s frame. See Picture at right. Remove the ignition switch from the bike. You may have to remove the connector body from the ignition switch wires to slide the wires through the frame when removing the ignition switch. You may now reinstall the side cover. 8. Lay the new wiring harness along the backbone of the bike with the two 9-pin connectors at the headlight and the 6-pin and 3-pin connectors at the battery. Insert the two 9-pin connectors through the large hole in the back of the headlight shell. Inside the headlight shell is a red 9-pin connector. Disconnect this red 9-pin connector and insert the new wiring harness connecting each side to the red 9-pin connectors. See picture at right

1. Make sure the bike is completely cool before starting the installation. Make sure the bike is secure on center stand or ideally a service lift. 2. Remove the seat and handle: 3. Remove the rear cowling: 4. Remove the fender assembly: 5. Remove the plastic cover on fender assembly to expose the brake and turn signal wires. Disconnect the brake light wires: 6. Remove the OEM muffler: 7. To install the Two Brothers Racing Slip-on Exhaust System: Attach the slip-tube with the X-Lite Ring™ to the muffler using the 4 (four) 6x14mm socket head cap screws and split lock washers provided. Leave loose for now. 8. Attach the rubber lined muffler clamps and plate brackets as shown to the muffler assembly using the 2 (two) 8x20mm socket head cap screws and nuts provided. Leave loose for now. 9. Install muffler assembly using the OEM mounting bolts and joint clamp. 10. Make sure muffler is aligned when the bike is centered. Then tighten the four V.A.L.E.™ assembly bolts and clamp bolts. Make sure there is clearance between wiring and all body parts. 11. Attach the turn signals/taillights and plate lights as shown in Wiring Diagram. Join wires to main wire harness using the supplied splice connectors and blue scotch locks. You can either cut the OEM modular connectors off of the wiring harness or splice new wire to them. The supplied lighting devices will need to have the modular connectors removed. Run all wiring to the left side of the rear frame, away from the muffler assembly making sure there is adequate clearance from all body parts. Make sure all lights work correctly. 12. Re-install the fender assembly, rear cowling, seat and handle from steps 2-4. 13. Double check your work for alignment and fitment. 14. Before you run the bike, clean off all fingerprints and dirt, as any oily residue will etch the metal and become somewhat permanent when the system gets hot. Remove any plastic film from name badge(s) and/or canister clamp(s). Run the bike and enjoy. It is normal for some white smoke to appear the first time you start the bike. This is packing/manufacturing oil from inside the pipe burning off. Check for gaps or leaks. If you find a leak, a little high temperature silicon sealant should fix it. After 50 to 100 miles, recheck all fasteners for tightness

1. Put a pair of male and female clamp halves together just above the lower triple-clamp. Squeeze the ends of the clamp together with a pair of pliers. Diagram A. 2. Have an assistant position the Light Bar Assembly so the lightbar bracket is to the outside of the clamp assembly. Make sure the wires from the Light Bar Assembly are below the lower triple clamp. Diagram B. 3. Insert a Screw through the clamp and Light Bar Assembly mounting bracket and thread on an Acorn Nut. 4. Hold the Light Bar Assembly in place in front of the lower triple clamp, assemble and attach the remaining clamps. 5. With all four clamp assemblies in place, tighten the clamping screws and nuts to 15 ft. lbs. (21 Nm). Refer to the service manual to gain access to the wire harness inside the fuel tank tunnel or inside the frame backbone. Also, verify the appropriate color wires for hook-up of the passing lamps and turnsignals and running lights. Route the wires from the Light Bar Assembly, around the lower triple- clamp, and up to the frame backbone. Secure the wires so they cannot become pinched when turning the fork. A. The short black wires from the Light Bar Assembly connect to the wires powering the running lights. B. The short red wires from the Light Bar Assembly connect to the wires powering the turnsignals. C. The long blue wires from the Light Bar Assembly connect to the wire powering the headlight low beam. After the wires are connected, verify the operation of the passing lamps, running lights and turnsignals. Correct any connection problems before reassembling the motorcycle. Reinstall the fuel tank. Check all fasteners used during this installation for tightness
