Color: Blue (dark) Odometer: 196 Miles Transmission: Manual LHD/RHD: LHD Convertible: No Listed under categories: 1950-69 Post-War, Race/Track/Rally Country: United States State/ Province: OH City/ Town: MENTOR Zip/ Postal Code: 44060 Description: It’samazinghowmuch fuss six little cars can make. Six cars designed bya 24 year old art school graduate, in 1964, were enough to turn FIA racing upside down. The bodies turned out to be golden, the chassis were proven and the will to win was provided by a certain Texan who you may have heard of. More than forty years later the power of the Shelby Cobra Daytona’s triumph is still celebrated by small volume builders making replicas of the car that conquered Europe. Many people consider these modern replicas to be”kit cars,”but where an outfit like Highland Daytona Racing is concerned, the cars released are anything but boxes of parts. Highland sells only turnkey cars, built to customer specifications and a very high standard. This gorgeous car here, resplendent in the classic blue and white paint scheme, runs and drives extremely well, goes like stink thanks toits traditional small block Fordengine—just like the originals. The car is also titled as a ’65 Shelby—no state issued, generic or random year tags here! The original six Daytona Cobra Coupe factory racers enjoyed a short but impressive racing career: Originally built for the 1964-65 racing season using 289 Shelby Cobra roadster chassis, these were America’sanswerto Ferrari’shighly successful 250 GTO. In their first year of competition, the Daytona Coupes won the GT class at Sebringandthen placed 4thoverallat Le Mans. They proved to be so competitive that Ferrariofficials, fearing a loss of the championship, managed to get the Monza, Italy final round cancelled, knowing the Daytonaswouldwin the race and the Championship. Consequently, Ferrariclaimed the 1964 FIA World Manufacturer’sChampionship. The following year Enzo Ferrari, realizing he would lose to the Daytona’s, pulled his factory support from the GT program, paving the way for the Daytona Coupe walkover. In 1965, the ex-Shelby Daytona Coupes of the UK’sAlanMannracing team won the FIA’s World Manufacturer’s GT title with ease. Everyone knows Cobra roadster replicas are great fun fora quick sprint on a sunny day, but the new crop of Daytona Coupe replicas presents anew concept: Cobra clones for serious long-distance touring. Many enthusiasts attend cruise nights, car club tours, and marathon events like the Hot Rod Power Tour and the One Lap of America. But as fun as roadsters are, withmega-power and rock-solid suspension, the smile factor can wear a little thin after an hour or soon the straight and narrow.

Glass’s Private Sale price represents an estimated selling price for a car sold by one private individual to another private individual at a given time. Private Sale prices apply to cars in good overall condition. A car in good condition will carry the best part of a year’s MOT. The car should present itself well, with no obvious damage to bodywork. Tyres and mechanical parts should all be in good condition. All equipment should be fully operational. In the case of cars under 3 years of age, the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty would also be included. The Private Sale price must always be adjusted for condition, whether better or worse. It is also important to note that there may still be differences due to colour, dealer options, variations in market conditions according to geographic area and so on

The flasher is set to flash continuously as long as the brake is applied. To convert to a 5 second flash and then stay solid while the brake is applied, cut the green wire loop on the flasher. Use electrical tape to protect and secure the green wires to the other wires. 2. Remove the rider’s seat. Locate the wire bundle that starts at the rear of the motorcycle. At the most accessible spot carefully remove 3″ to 3½” of protective wire loom. I know, I know…it’s really beautifully done. Cowboy up! Take it off! 3. Mount the flasher in a location that will not crimp wires or interfere with the other bike assemblies. Locate the +12 volt wire ( GRAY wire with BLACK stripe and YELLOW banding) from the brake light Attach the kit RED wire to the brake light positive wire using one of the Posi-Tap connectors in the kit. 4. Locate the Ground wire ( BROWN wire) from the brake light. Attach the kit BLACK wire to the motorcycle ground wire using a Posi-Tap connector. 5. If you have a Fuse Block with ignition switched relay installed, route the Hyper-Lite GRAY wire to a fused circuit on the (relay activated) fuse block . 6. If you do not have a Fuse Block installed, find the alarm circuit connector under the seat . The alarm circuit has a rectangular connector and five wires, White with Black stripe; White with Brown stripe; Red with White; Brown with White; and Green with White stripe. Use a Posi-Tap to attach the Hyper-Lite GRAY wire to the green wire with white stripe. Pull the wire loom back from the wire. Tap into the wire with the Posi-Tap provided. . 7. If using the Hyper-Lite License Plate Mounting bracket, install it now. OR: Clean the side facing reflectors at the rear of the bike with alcohol. Mount the LED modules vertically on the reflectors so that the LEDs point straight back. Press in place for about 5 seconds. The tape can be used only once! If you goof, new tape is required. 8. Route the BLUE and BROWN wires from the flasher and the LED modules. Trim the Blue and Brown wires to remove any excess wire . Use a Posi-Twist to connect the 3 BLUE wires together. Use a Posi-Twist to connect the 3 BROWN wires together. (see Posi-Twist Connector instructions)

FUEL SELECTION 1. Choose a fuel from a reputable, brand name company that is approved for car/truck use. Do not use airplane or boat fuels in your car/truck. Choose methanol based model engine glow fuel that has a nitro content in the range 10%-30% and 5% to 18% caster/synthetic oil content for lubrication. Lower nitro percentages will generally result in a cooler engine running temperature and therefore last longer before needing a rebuild; cooler-running engines also generally produce less power. 20% nitro is the most widely used fuel. 2. Fuel color is for identification purpose only and is not important to performance or durability of your engine. 3. Be careful. If the tank overflows it might get on your radio gear or on your brakes and it may create an unsafe driving situation. Always keep your fuel bottle closed when not in use. 4. Do not dispose of fuel or empty fuel containers in a fire. It may possibly cause fire or explosion. ENGINE 1. For proper engine break-in procedure, please refer to the manual of your engine. 2. Never run your vehicle without the air filter .If the vehicle will be operated in an area with fine dust, use filter oil or caster oil instead of fuel. It is important that the foam is only moist to trap dirt and allow air passage. With the foam too wet, limited air can pass through; therefore, limiting engine performance. 3. The parts around engine could be dangerously hot after operation. Do not touch it without any protection! RADIO OPERATION 1. When turning radio on, first turn on the transmitter and extend the transmitter antenna. 2. Then, turn on the receiver. When turning off, first turn the receiver off, then the transmitter off. FIRST AID 1. If you drink nitro fuel by accident, immediately drink large quantities of water and try to induce vomiting. Consult with physician right after then. 2. If the nitro fuel gets into your eyes, rinse them well with water. Consult with physician right after then. 3. If the fuel gets onto your skin, wash it well with soap and water. WARNING 1. Improper operations may cause personal and/or property damage. Thunder Tiger and its distributor have no control over damage resulting from shipping, improper construction, or improper usage. 2. HYbrid3 compressor concept is a means of transport with no affi liation to a particular type of vehicle. With its three wheels and its streamlined body, it is something of a missing link between two worlds which to date are quite distinct: that of the scooter and that of the car. With an electric motor in each of its two front wheels, coupled at the rear with a petrol engine, it brings into play very innovative hybrid technologies allowing each of its wheels to provide motive power. In a world of intensifying urban traffi c where everyone is trying to save time, where oil prices are skyrocketing and the environment is more than ever a priority, design departments are vying in ingenuity to develop solutions for the future. Giving full rein to their creativity and expertise, two separate Peugeot teams converged on a similar idea and fi nally worked in tandem to develop a particularly original project: the HYbrid3 compressor . This ”concept car”, or rather ”concept scooter”, is based on the extensive experience of Peugeot Motorcycles, specialists in the scooter fi eld, as well as the creativity and innovative capabilities of stylists and engineers working for Automobiles Peugeot. To create this concept, Peugeot was able to draw on its extensive experience in the world of transportation enabling each individual, according to their age or their needs, to choose from among the Marque’s cycles, motorcycles and cars
