Check top clamp holding on rear heat shield be sure this is mounted forward not in middle of pipe. 2. Slide rear head pipe into collector and leave loose. 3. Mount head pipes into exhaust ports using stock Harley gaskets hand thread nuts onto head studs, leaving play in pipes. 4. Slip muffler onto collector and leave loose. 5. Slide D&D bracket included with kit onto chassis and muffler together. 6. Hand thread nuts onto chassis studs 7. Align muffler flush with bracket, hand thread bolts onto muffler.
8. Push system together tightly, Tighten rear head pipe collector clamp. 9. Holding muffler into place (finger width between shock bolt) tighten down muffler clamp all the way. 10. Snug (do not torque) chassis bracket bolts, snug muffler bolts until all is correctly aligned, then tighten down bolts. 11. Tighten head bolts down using factory torque specs, as you tighten the pipe check muffler clearance. If to close to swing arm push in on head pipe. If to far away push in on head pipe. 12. Once all is tight start bike and check for leaks This system is designed to be used with a high flow air filter and D&D VRDSEDD2.MT4 Race Tuner map.

Remove the valve from the shipping package (box or pallet) with care taken to avoid any damage to the valve and actuator (plus accessories where applicable). •Before installation, remove the seal discs from the flange. Clean the inside of the valve using an air line that includes an appropriate air-filter. Ensure that there are no solid objects such as pieces of wood, plastic or packing materials within the valve or on the valve seat. •Confirm that the materials of construction listed on the valve nameplates are appropriate for the service intended for and are as specified. When in doubt contact KTM, or your local Tyco facility. •Define the preferred mounting orientation with respect to the system pressure. The arrow on the body helps to identify the upstream side (high pressure) and downstream side (low pressure). •Ensure that all stud bolts and nuts of the body joint are firmly fastened. Caution •Verify that the direction of the flow in the line corresponds to the arrow indicated on the valve body. Valves without the arrow are bi-directional. •See the Actuator User Manual for the actuator preparation. 2.2. Installation Instructions •Ball valves are normally installed in horizontal pipes with the stem facing up. However, there are no limitations regarding the pipe or stem orientation. •Unless otherwise recommended by KTM, the valve should be installed with the ball in the open position, to ensure that the seat rings are not damaged during installation. •Particular care should be taken for valves equipped with “fail-close” actuators. •For operating temperatures above 200°C (392°F), thermal insulation of the valve body is recommended to protect the actuator/accessories from heat beyond the recommended temperature range. •Handling and lifting of the valves during installation MUST be performed following the same criteria and instructions described in points 1.2. and 1.3

This CRF/XR50 frame kit addresses all these problems with not only a stronger framer but also with added knee-to-bar clearance for taller riders.. Removal Procedure: 4.7L V8 OE Air Inlet System (a) Remove the two 10 mm cap nuts and throttle body cover (Fig. 4-1). (b) Remove air cleaner hose assembly. (1) Disconnect the vacuum hose and No. 2 ventilation hose (Fig. 4-2).
(2) Loosen the two 10 mm hose clamps and remove the air cleaner hose (Fig. 4-2). 5. Removal Procedure: 5.7L and 4.7L V8 OE Air Inlet System (a) Remove the air cleaner lid. (1) Disconnect the MAF sensor connector (Fig. 5-1).
(2) Using a clip remover, detach the wire harness clamp (Fig. 5-1). (3) Unfasten the 4 hook clamps and then
remove the air cleaner lid (Fig. 5-1). (b) Remove OE air filter and save. (c) Remove the two 10 mm bolts and air cleaner
case (Fig. 5-2)

The new design of the 2004 CM & PW allows the easy and rapid cleaning of the airbox with a hose by simply removing the air filter. This process can allow pressurized dirt and/or water to enter the carburetor unless the opening of the carburetor is properly covered. Cobra has a carburetor cover available that fits both the CM & PW model

1-Locate and remove the Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IATS) from the stock Polaris Victory air box. Locate the new position for the IATS on the bottom of the S&S air cleaner. Push the IATS in the lower air cleaner cover and turn1⁄ 4 turnin either direction, make sure you feel it lock into place. Inspect from the inside of the air cleaner to ensure that the barbs are locked into place. See Picture 1. 2-Using the stock Polaris Victory air box gasket (PN 5811908) and S&S supplied (Qty 4) M6 fasteners, assemble the lower air cleaner cover to the throttle body using 243 Blue Loctite®on the treads. Torque the M6 fasteners to 72-96 inch pounds. 3-Position the S&S pre-formed air filter onto the lower air cleaner cover ensuring that it fits into the machined groove. 4-Install the top air cleaner cover on top of the filter ensuring that it fits into the machined groove. 5-Make surethat the filter is situated in the machined grooves on both the top and bottom air cleaner covers. 6-Using 243 Blue Loctite on the threads of the S&S supplied (Qty 3) M6 fasteners tighten down top air cleaner cover evenly until seated. Finish torque the fasteners to 72-96 inch pounds. Now you’re ready for breather hose and barometric pressure hose routing. 7-Locate the S&S supplied 3⁄ 16 “reinforced hose and clamps. Push one end of the hose on the 3⁄ 16 “brass barb in the bottom air cleaner cover and slide clamp up around the end of the hose. The other end of the hose is for the Barometric Pressure Sensor (MAP). Route the hose towardthe back of the engine over the top of the rear rocker cover. 8-Remove the MAP sensor from the stock Polaris Victory air box. Remove the orange rubber gasket from the MAP sensor. Slide the S&S supplied clamp over the 3⁄ 16 “rubber hose that leads to the air cleaner. Push the barbed end of the MAP sensor into the 3⁄ 16 ” rubber hose and slide clamp up to the end of the hose around the barb. A small amount of lubricant may be applied to the barb on the MAP sensor to make installation easier. 2 S&S Air Cleaner Assembly 41-0021 (Calibration cardnot shown) Picture 1 CAUTION WARNING WARNING Plastic barb locked in recess.
9-Assemble and install breather hose as follows: A-Cut the stock Victory®hose on the straight section just behind the 90 degree bend as shown in Picture 2 . B-Slide an S&S supplied 1⁄ 2 “hose clamp over the modified stock breather hose. C-Install the S&S straight barb in Victory breather hose and position a hose clamp around hose end. D-Slide the 90-degree end of breather hose over the brass barb on the air cleaner cover and slide hose clamp in place. E-Position straight end of the S&S breather hose over the 1⁄ 2 “barb to connect to the Victory hose. Slide clamp over connection. F- See Pictures 3 and 4 for breather hose and barometric pressuresensor hose installation positions. NOTE: S&S breather hose can be cut for best fit

Remove plastic from around air filter housing. Remove clamp attaching stock intake (snorkel) from air box. Loosen upper radiator hose clamp. Rotate it so the drive is on the opposite side of the new snorkel and retighten it. Loosen metal support for front plastic. Have a friend gently pull outward and carefully install the new snorkel. Position snorkel so it does not interfere with any cables or steering stem. Move handle bars back and forth. Check for clearance around new snorkel. Make sure all wires, cables and steering stem do not come into contact with the snorkel. Adjust as necessary. Tighten clamp at the air box. Reinstall plastic in opposite order of removal. At your own risk, you can cut slices in the black plastic hood on front of the quad to force the maximum amount of cold fresh air and produce additional horsepower. Jetting will vary from quad to quad and with the altitude

1. Remove the airbox and clean thoroughly. 2. Cut off the factory plastic ring on airbox. DO NOT cut a bigger than 3″ 5/8 diameter (See figure #1) 3. After cutting hole in airbox place billet adapter inside the airbox and insert hole then mark the mounting holes for the billet adapter. 4. Drill the marked locations with a 7/32 drill bit. 2. Install the billet adapter from the inside of the airbox with the Trinity Racing logo at the top of the airbox. Insert the bolts and washers from the carburetor side of the airbox and then secure it with blue loctite then tighten bolts. 3. Install Outerwear over new filter. 5. Install the filter onto the billet adapter and make sure the rubber neck of the air filter is completely free of oil. Tighten the filter clamp securely, but do not over tighten and cut into the rubber neck of the filter. 6. Reinstall the air box assemble with lid ( if you choose to reinstall the airbox lid ) onto the vehicle. Be sure to tighten and double-check all the nuts and bolts you have installed. 7. Check your vehicles jetting. Depending on your modifications and riding altitude, a jetting change may be required for your ATV to run properly.
