This nitrous manifold greatly simplifies the way extra fuel is delivered that is needed for nitrous use. The carburetor vents
are connected to this manifold, allowing the carburetor(s) to breathe normally through the airbox when nitrous is not used.
When nitrous is sprayed, the manifold produces a positive pressure that goes to the carburetor float bowl, which “pushes”
more fuel through the main jet of the carburetor(s). This eliminates the need for an extra fuel pump, fuel solenoid, extra
plumbing, and nozzle(s) that are necessary to inject the extra fuel in other systems.This manifold is also designed to vary the float bowl pressure in relation to nitrous pressure, thus keeping the nitrous and fuel delivery in sync. Fluctuations in bottle temperature greatly affect nitrous pressure, which affects nitrous delivery. By automatically adjusting the fuel delivery as nitrous pressure varies, this manifold makes nitrous safe, reliable, and easy to use. The valve shown in picture (A) will require both the 4an x 1/8 npt fitting and the 1/8 npt plug. The valve shown in picture (B) will only need the 4an x 1/8 npt fitting. Use thread sealant on these fittings, be sure not to get any sealant inside the valve. Remove the upper mounting bolts on the front bumper. Install bracket support strap and reinstall the mounting bolts. 2. Install rear strap mounts over frame tubes. 3. Attach saddle bracket to support brackets, front and rear using supplied hardware.

Receiver Hitch Installation Install all bolts loosely until all brackets are in place 1) Place motorcycle on center stand and be certain it is level. 2) Remove saddlebags if necessary for easier installation. 3) Mount bracket A to the lower front crash bar bolt Left side (new bolts provided) and top of left hitch arm. 4) Mount bracket B to the lower front crash bar bolt Right side (new bolts provided) and top of right hitch arm. 5) Bracket C mounts to rear of hitch and sub frame bolt located behind tail light (new bolt provided) This bracket mounts inside the rear fender. 6) Attach brackets D and E to rear of hitch. 7) Bracket F attaches to bottom of bracket D and trunk sub frame with U-bolts. Insert bottom U-bolts at step 9 8) Bracket G attaches to bottom of bracket E and trunk sub frame with U-bolts. Insert bottom U-bolts at step 9 9) Brackets D and E (with brackets F and G) attach to bottom rear saddlebag sub frame with U-bolts. 10) Tighten all bolts. INSTALLATION OF THE TOW-PAC HITCH CART. 1. Place your motorcycle on a smooth flat surface, like a garage floor, and rest it on its center stand. 2. Assemble the axles, tires and wheels, and fenders onto the tow- pac hitch cart. 3. Carefully align the tow-pac hitch cart’s hitch mount with the receiver hitch on the motorcycle. Now push the hitch mount into the receiver hitch. (this might be a little difficult until you get use to doing it. Removing the paint from the hitch mount and applying a little grease will help.) 4. Place the hitch pin through the receiver hitch and hitch mount ( alignment plate ). Install and tighten the tension bolt. 5. Push the motorcycle off of the center stand and risers if used. 6. Bolt leanstop braces to hitch. (Bolt inserts from the bottom) Be certain to replace washers/spacers in the same configuration as when you removed them. see diagram next page 7. Check all bolts for tightness. 8. You are now ready for the test ride. A. Keep your feet up! B. Ride slowly in first gear until you are comfortable with the Tow-Pac system.

Refer to diagram for bracket identification 1. Secure motorcycle in an upright stable position 2. Attach bracket A (left) to rear footpeg mount. 3. Attach bracket B (right) to rear footpeg mount. 4. Remove rear saddlebags. 5. Attach top of brackets C/D to saddlebag sub frame hardware as in photo. Place enclosed 3/8 spacer between brackets C/D and inside of sub frame. 6. Attach axles and wheels to MiniTrike frame and place in proper position and relation behind motorcycle. 7. Attach bracket A (left) / B (right) to TOP of forward attaching points on MiniTrike frame. 8. Attach bottom of brackets C/D to rear mounting plate on MiniTrike frame 9. Ensure MiniTrike is square with motorcycle and tighten all bolts. 10. Remount saddlebags. Wheel Alignment Wheel alignment is critical for proper tire wear and handling. With MiniTrike installed measure A and B . Loosen axle plates and align wheel so A and B are equal to within 1/16th of an inch. Tighten axle bolts and torque to 45 pounds. Repeat for C and D . It may be necessary to shim axle plates for proper alignment. NOTE : The measurement of A and B may not be the same as C and D. This is normal and presents no difficulty

INSTALLATION NOTE Use the Docking Hardware Kit to assemble two upper and two lower clamps. See the Service Parts illustration. The upper clamps use a mounting pin (4) and the lower clamps use a button head screw (5) to fasten the windshield mounting bushing. 1. Assemble the windshield docking hardware as follows: a. Install a larger chrome washer (6) and bushing (7) onto a button head screw (5). Thread the screw into the boss on one of the clamps (1), and tighten finger tight. Repeat for a second lower clamp. b. Install a larger chrome washer (6) and bushing (7) onto a mounting pin (4). Thread the pin into the boss on one of the clamps (1), and tighten finger tight. Installing Clamps NOTE Place shop rags on the headlamp, front fender and front of the fuel tank to prevent scratches to these components. Be sure the windshield assembly does not contact chrome or painted parts. Contact will cause scratches to chrome or painted parts. 2. See Figure 1. Install a lower clamp onto a fork tube using a smaller chrome washer and lock nut from the kit. Adjust so the clamp is approximately 1/8 inch (3 mm) from the top of the lower triple clamp, then finger tighten the lock nut. Repeat with the second lower clamp and fork tube. NOTE Keep front wheel straight to prevent brackets from scratching fuel tanks. See Figure 1. Install the clamps on the fork tubes so the bushing center lines are 3 inches (76 mm) apart. 3. Install an upper clamp onto a fork tube using a smaller chrome washer and lock nut from the kit. Adjust so the clamp is approximately 1/8 inch (3 mm) from the bottom of the upper triple clamp. Ensure that the center lines of the upper and lower bushings are 3 inches (76 mm) apart, then finger tighten the lock nut. Repeat with the second upper clamp and fork tube

Installation The rider’s safety depends upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley- Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00333a) NOTE If your motorcycle has directional lights mounted on the upper fork bracket they must be relocated to the bottom fork bracket. Some models have front directional lights equipped with three wires, the third black wire is a ground wire. Check to determine how many wires are connected to the front directional lights and follow the following procedure that applies. Ifdirectional lights are not mounted on the upper fork bracket proceed to “ASSEMBLING FAIRING”. Relocating Two Wire Directional Lights 1. Support motorcycle on a center stand such that front wheel is raised slightly off the ground. 2. Remove fork tube pinch screw from right side of lower bracket. 3. Cut wires connected to right directional light about 2 in. away from directional light body. 4. Remove fork tube pinch screw from right side of upper fork bracket. (This is the screw that secures the right directional light.) 5. Install right directional light on right side of lower fork bracket using pinch screw removed in step 4. Install pinch screw removed in step 2 into right side of upper bracket. Tighten both pinch screws to 30-35 ft-lbs. 6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 to relocate left directional light. NOTE Fork tubes may slide downward within fork brackets. If this occurs, front fork tube extension above front fork upper bracket will have to be readjusted according to appropriate Service Manual procedures. 7. Connect the right directional light as follows: Strip approx. 5/16 in. of insulation from the wires cut in step 3. 8. Crimp solderless connectors from kit on two wires coming from motorcycle. 9. Split one end of the 2-conductor polarized wire from kit back about 2 in. and strip 5/16 in. of insulation from wire ends. 10. Slide a piece of shrink tubing from kit over each of the wire ends stripped in step 9 and crimp the wires into the terminals installed in step 8. Make sure you connect the silver and copper colored wires to like colored wires. NOTE Polarized wire is used in this application to ensure correct wiring. One wire is silver, one is copper colored. Wire colors of spliced wire must match wire color of original directional wire leads. 11. Cut polarized wires to the length required for connection to the wires at the relocated directional light. Make certain you leave enough slack in wires to allow routing the harness along the fork tube. 12. Split remaining end of the 2-conductor polarized wire from kit back about 2 in. and strip 5/16 in. of insulation from wire ends. 13. Slide heat shrink tubes over the two wire end. 14. Strip 5/16 in. of insulation from wires connected to directional light and connect like colored wires at directional light with connectors from kit. 15. Slide heat shrink tubing over connectors installed in steps 10 and 14. Activate shrink tubing with heat gun or hair dryer.

REMOVAL 1. See Figure 1. Remove existing passenger footpegs and mounting hardware. 2. Remove chrome swingarm pivot covers, if equipped. 3. Do not remove tool boxes, if equipped. INSTALLATION NOTES To prevent damage to chrome surfaces, avoid contact with abrasive materials (stones, sand, etc.). Some paint removal from counterbore holes of footboard brackets may be necessary to ease the installation of the pivot pins. Install Left Footboard Mount and Bracket 1. See Figure 2. Position left footboard mount (1) and insert screw (2) through mount and into footpeg mounting hole. 2. Position semi-circular cutout in mount extending from side of mount around nut of swingarm pivot bolt. Tighten screw (2) to 35-45 ft-lbs (47-61 Nm). 3. Position left footboard bracket (3) on mounting stud so that bolt hole aligns with machined groove in stud. 4. Insert screw (4) through left side in split hub of footboard bracket. Thread into tapped hole (right side) of split hub. Tighten to 10 ft-lbs (13.6 Nm). Install Right Footboard Bracket 1. See Figure 2. Position right footboard bracket (5) onto muffler support bracket. 2. Secure footboard bracket with screw (6). Tighten to 35-45 ft-lbs (47-61 Nm). Install Left and Right Footboards NOTE The footboards are side specific. Install footboards with Bar and Shield logo toward the front. 1. See Figure 2. Place footboard pad (7, 8) on footboard bottom (9, 10) and thread the pivot pins (11, 12). 2. Tighten pivot pins to 60-68 in-lbs (6.8-9.0 Nm). 3. Place spring (13) into retaining hole in footboard bracket (3, 5). Rest Delrin® ball (14) on top of spring. 4. Position footboard bottom (9, 10) onto footboard bracket in the down position while being careful not to unseat the ball. 5. Tighten pivot pins to 12-15 ft-lbs (16.3-20 Nm). 6. Press down on footboard assembly so holes align. 7. Insert mounting pins (15) in footboard bottom (9, 10) into corresponding holes in footboard pad (7, 8).

Place chrome plate on to the desired position on the rail covering both the top and bottom rail with the chrome plate. 3. Insert light into the hole on the chrome plate and attached with brackets, washer and bolts provided in figure 1. Tighten securely. 4. Wire light into bike’s running or brake lights. If adding more than one light, wire lights in series.

1 Install Accent Panels Note: See hardware list on Page 4 for usage and descriptions. 1.1 Elevate the rear of the vehicle and support with jack stands under the rear differential tubes. 1.2 Remove the rear wheels 1.3 Remove the passenger foot rests. 1.4 Remove front fairing (for wiring later in installation) . 1.5 Install cross brace and frame clamps to frame in the approximate position shown in Figure 1. 1.6 Note orientation of cross brace (Figure 2). Flat side of the brace against bottom of frame tubes. Outboard tabs up and to the rear of the vehicle. 1.7 Leave the bolts loose to allow the bracket’s position to be adjusted later in installation. 1.8 Install front brackets to vehicle between the frame and crash bars as shown, using the supplied hardware (the left side bracket is longer than the right. Figure 3 1.9 Leave the bolts loose to allow the bracket’s position to be adjusted later in installation. 1.10 Position the accent panel to vehicle. Figure 4 1.11 Install supplied hardware to front and cross brackets. Figure 5 &Figure 6 1.12 Leave the bolts loose to allow the accent panel’s position to be adjusted later in installation. 1.13 If not already preinstalled to your accent panel, install rubber bead edge molding between trike body (fender) and accent panel. Bead edge molding 1.14 Clamp the accent panel to the body (fender). Check position of accent panel and ensure proper positioning of bead edge molding. 1.15 Four holes will be drilled though body (fender) and accent panel in the approximate positions shown (both left and right accent panels). Figure 8 Note: Hole location dimension in Figure 8 are approximations. Your drill location may and can vary. Note: Hole position should be as high an possible on the accent panel, allowing space to install hardware 1.16 With accent panel and bead edge molding properly positioned and clamped to body (fender), Drill the two outboard holes in the approximate position shown from inside the fender well through mounting surface of accent panel. Note: Drill outboard hole first and install hardware to reduce risk of accidental movement. Figure 9 1.17 Drill remaining two inboard holes from the accent panel mounting surface through the body (fender). Figure 10 1.18 With both left and right accent panels installed, tighten all hardware at the left and right front mounting positions. 1.19 Trim off excess bead edge molding. 1.20 With left and right front mounting secure, check position and alignment of cross bar and accent panel mid mounts and tighten all hardware. 1.21 With fairing removed, crimp supplied xxx to the black, purple and blues wires of the vehicle’s turn signal wire loom. 1.22 Crimp one of the supplied male spade connectors to the end each wire from the accent panel. 1.23 Connect wiring as indicated in Table 1 below. Honda VTX 1800 EZ-Steer Instruction Installation of the Champion EZ-Steer system is similar to the installation of the OEM triple clamps of your Honda VTX 1800 Motorcycle. We strongly recommend that you use your OEM service manual and follow the prescribed disassembly, installation and torque specifications (except where noted below) for the upper and lower clamp assembly. Recommended Procedures • Disconnect all wiring to headlight and remove headlight, windscreen (if so equipped) and brackets from motorcycle. • Remove handle bars from top clamp. • Remove brake caliper and brackets; disconnect all mounting points on brake lines. Secure calipers to frame being careful not to damage brake lines. • The wheel and fork tube assembly can be removed as one complete unit. • Remove steering lock fromOEM bottom clamp and install on Champion’s bottom clamp. • Replacing the upper OEM bearing and race with the Champion supplied bearing and race, install Champion’s lower triple clamp to motorcycle reusing original hardware as removed. Torque bearing lock nut to 35 lb. ft.. • Install covers to bottom forks if supplied with OEM motorcycle. • Install Champion upper clamp with OEM washer and dome nut. Leave loose. • Slide forks up and into the upper clamp until top of forks are flush with top surface of clamp. • Torque dome nut to 75 lb. ft.. • Ensure that fork tube extensions are flush with top of upper clamp. Torque lower 8mm bolts to 20 lb.ft. and upper 10 mm clamp bolts to 30 lb. ft.. • Install handle bars to upper clamp using OEM nut and flat washers. • Reinstall brake line holders to the lower triple clamp. • Reinstall all other OEM parts as removed. • Bleed brakes. • OEM windshield # 08R80-MCH-100 can be used on this kit
