General This kit is designed for 1996 and later FLHT, Electra Glide Standard, model motorcycles Kit contents: QTY DESCRIPTION 1 Pouch 4 Velcro™strip Installation 1. Wash inside of fairing compartment with a clean, soft, nonabrasive cloth, water and mild soap. 1 CAUTION DO NOT use benzine, paint thinner, gasoline, powdered abrasives, alkaline cleansers, or any other harsh cleansers to clean the fairing compartment. They will damage the surface. Never scrape fairing surfaces with a razor blade or other sharp instrument because permanent damage will result. 2. Arrange pouch in compartment. 3. Align and attach velcro strips from kit to top, bottom and sides of compartment so they match the placement of velcro strips on pouch. 4. To secure pouch to fairing compartment, press pouch velcro strips against compartment velcro strips. Care of Pouch 1. When necessary, remove and wash pouch with mild soap and warm water

This kit fits all 1999 and later FLHR (Road King®) models, FLTR (Road Glide®) and FLHT (Electra Glide® standard) models having license plates measuring a maximum of 7-1/4 x 4-1/4 inches (184 x 108 mm). Also fits 2003 FLHRSEI2 (Screamin’ Eagle® Road King). Does not fit with Detachable Tour-Pak Rack, part number 53276-04. Does not fit 2002 FLHRSEI (Screamin’ Eagle Road King). Kit Contents See Figure 1. INSTALLATION 1. Remove the license plate from the vehicle (if installed). Remove the two hex head bolts holding the original equipment (O.E.) license-plate bracket in place. The bolts and license-plate bracket can be discarded. 2. See Figure 1. Install the new layback license plate holder (1) using the button-head hex socket screws (3) from the kit. Tighten the screws to 19 ft-lbs (25.8 Nm) . 4 1 3 7 5 2 6 is02737 1. Position the license plate onto the foam pads (2) of the license plate holder, centering and aligning the plate parallel to the holder edges for best appearance. NOTE Slots in the inside top edge of the license plate frame (4) fit over the two tabs on the top edge of the license plate holder. 4. Hook the top of the license plate frame over the top edge of the holder. Swing the bottom edge of the frame inward, holding the license plate in position against the pads. 5. Use the hex key (6) from the kit to securely fasten the license plate frame to the holder with the two socket head set screws (5)

REMOVAL NOTE This Instruction Sheet covers several different Harley-Davidson models and years. Be sure to locate and follow the procedures that apply to the motorcycle receiving the new guard. For Models without Lower Fairings 1. Proceed to For All Models section. For Model FLHTCUI (Ultra Classic Electra Glide) with Factory-Installed Lower Fairings 1. Remove the lower fairings following the instructions in the appropriate Service Manual. 2. When the lower fairings have been removed, proceed to For All Models section. For Models FLHR/I (Road King), FLHT (Electra Glide Standard) or FLHTC/I (Electra Glide Classic) with Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessory Lower Fairings 1. See Figure 1. Remove the two black screws (1) that attach the fairing cap (2) to the lower fairing (5). Remove the cap. Set the parts aside for re-installation. 2. Remove the screw (7), rubber washer (8) and locknut (10) and the clamp (9) that attaches the bottom of the lower fairing to the engine guard and set aside. 3. Remove the two locknuts (3), U-bolt (6) and U-bolt retainer (4). 4. Remove the lower fairing by sliding it out from behind the engine guard. 5. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for the opposite side. 6. Proceed to For All Models section. For Model FLTR/I (Road Glide) with Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessory Lower Fairings Disconnect negative (-) battery cable first. If positive (+) cable should contact ground with negative (-) cable connected, the resulting sparks can cause a battery explosion, which could result in death or serious injury. (00049a) 1. Disconnect the battery, negative (-) battery cable first, following the instructions in the appropriate Service Manual. 2. Remove the seat following the instructions in the appropriate Service Manual. 3. Remove the cable strap holding the clutch cable to the engine guard. 4. See Figure 2. Remove the TORX screw (8), rubber washer (9) and locknut (11) and the clamp (10) that attaches the bottom of the lower fairing (4) to the engine guard and set aside INSTALLATION 1. Hold the engine guard in position, and loosely fasten the top of the guard with the new hex socket screw and flat washer from the kit. 2. Install the bottom brackets to the motorcycle frame with the two new TORX screws and locknuts. 3. Tighten all three screws to 15-20 ft-lbs (20.3-27.1 Nm) . For Model FLHTCUI (Ultra Classic Electra Glide) with Factory-Installed Lower Fairings 1. Install the lower fairings following the instructions in the appropriate Service Manual. For Models FLHR/I (Road King), FLHT (Electra Glide Standard) or FLHTC/I (Electra Glide Classic) with Harley- Davidson Genuine Motor Accessory Lower Fairings 1. Carefully place one lower fairing in position from behind the engine guard. 2. See Figure 1. Install the lower fairing to the top of the new engine guard with the U-bolt (6) from the back, through the holes at the top of the fairing. Install the retainer (4) in position on the U-bolt and secure to the engine guard with the two locknuts (3). Do not tighten the locknuts at this time. 3. Attach the bottom of the fairing to the engine guard with the clamp (9) removed earlier. Install the clamp around the engine guard in the direction shown, with the tabs toward the rear of the vehicle and the flat side of the clamp against the lower fairing. Insert the screw (7) through the lower fairing, rubber washer (8) and clamp (9). Secure the assembly with the locknut (10). Tighten to 12 ft-lbs (16.3 Nm) .

This kit fits 2006 and later FLHT (Electra Glide®), FLHTC (Electra Glide Classic), FLHX (Street GlideTM) and FLTR (Road Glide®) model motorcycles. INSTALLATION 1. Refer to the Service Manual and follow the instructions given to remove the right-side saddlebag. 2. See Figure 1. Obtain the antenna bracket (5) from the kit. 3. Mount the antenna bracket to the right-side saddlebag rear support bracket (1). In the upper hole (2), use a 5/16-18 x 5/8 in. in. screw and lockwasher from the kit. If NO saddlebag guard (4), use a 5/16-18 x 5/8 in. screw and lockwasher from the kit to attach the antenna bracket to the lower hole (3) in the support bracket. If a saddlebag guard (4) is mounted, remove and discard the original upper rear guard mounting screw. Use the 5/16-18 x 7/8 in. screw and lockwasher from the kit to attach the antenna bracket and guard at the lower hole (3) in the support bracket. 4. Tighten the mounting screws to 19 ft-lbs (26 Nm). 5. FLHX models: Remove and discard the hole plug from the right-side rear fender fascia (ground effects). 6. See Figure 2. Obtain the antenna adapter (4), two set screws (5) and the antenna base (6) from the kit. Thread the set screws part way into the holes in the side of the adapter. Thread the antenna adapter onto the antenna base. 7. Thread one of the 1/2-20 thin nuts (7) from the kit onto the antenna base assembly. Place the large internal tooth lockwasher (8) on the threads of the antenna base and insert the antenna base, from the top, through the hole in the antenna mounting bracket. 8. Install the second 1/2-20 nut on the antenna base threads. Place a wrench on the upper nut and tighten the lower nut to 40 in-lbs (4.5 Nm). 9. FLHX models: Install the CB antenna grommet (Part Number 59778-06, sold separately) into the opening in the right-side rear fender fascia. 10. Thread the loading coil (2) into the top of the antenna adapter

This kit fits 2006 and later FLHT (Electra Glide®), FLHTC (Electra Glide Classic), FLHX (Street GlideTM) and FLTR (Road Glide®) model motorcycles. INSTALLATION 1. Have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the speaker software flash to the previously installed AM/ FM/ CD Radio. 2. Refer to the Service Manual and follow the instructions given to remove the seat and the left-side saddlebag. The right-side saddlebag does not need to be removed, but you may choose to do so in order to prevent damage during the installation of this kit. 3. Follow the instructions in the Service Manual to remove the maxi-fuse. NOTE The Tour-Pak does not have to be removed from the vehicle to perform this installation. 4. Open the Tour-Pak lid and remove all items from the Tour- Pak base. 5. Models with rubber mat: Remove the mat. Models with molded liner: Open the map pocket and remove the acorn nuts with flat washers. Remove the map pocket and liner. 6. Position the the right-side template flat onto the right front corner of the Tour-Pak. a. Fit the notched corner on the left side of the template to the Tour-Pak latch. b. this kit fits 2006 and later FLHT (Electra Glide®), FLHTC (Electra Glide Classic), FLHTCU (Ultra Classic® Electra Glide), FLHX (Street GlideTM) and FLTR (Road Glide®) model motor- cycles. XM satellite radio is available within the continental United States. It is not available in Alaska or Hawaii. Additional Parts Required FLHT models will require prior installation of an Advanced Audio AM/ FM/ CD Radio Kit (Part Number 76412-06) and an AM/ FM Antenna Kit (Part Number 76325-06 or 76317-06). Unless one has already been fitted as part of another Advanced Audio kit installation: FLHT, FLHTC, and FLHX models will require the additional purchase of a Non-Ultra Overlay Harness (Part Number 70169- 06) and a left-hand Antenna Bracket (Part Number 76456-06). FLHTCU models will require the additional purchase of an Ultra Overlay Harness (Part Number 70164-06) and a left-hand Antenna Bracket (Part Number 76456-06). FLTR models will require the additional purchase of a Non- Ultra Overlay Harness (Part Number 70169-06) and an Antenna Bracket (Part Number 76316-06). If two modules are already installed on top of the radio, two Dual-LockTM mounts, Part Number 76434-06, will be needed. These items are available from a Harley-Davidson Dealer INSTALLATION To prevent accidental vehicle start-up, which could cause death or serious injury, remove maxi-fuse before proceeding. (00251a) 1. Refer to the Service Manual and follow the instructions given to remove the maxi-fuse. 2. Remove the outer fairing and windshield. Refer to OUTER FAIRING/ WINDSHIELD REMOVAL in the Service Manual. NOTE If another module has been installed in the location reserved for the XM radio module, relocate that module per the instructions supplied with that kit
