Care must be taken when installing this accessory to ensure damage does not occur to the vehicle. The installation of this accessory should follow approved guidelines to ensure a quality installation. These guidelines can be found in the “Accessory Installation Practices” document. This document covers such items as:- — Vehicle Protection (use of covers and blankets, cleaning chemicals, etc.). — Safety (eye protection, rechecking torque procedure, etc.). — Vehicle Disassembly/Reassembly (panel removal, part storage, etc.). — Electrical Component Disassembly/Reassembly (battery disconnection, connector removal, etc.). Please see your Toyota dealer for a copy of this document. 1. Hole Placement – Left Side (a) Measure vertically 70 mm up from bottom of truck bed, using marking pencil draw a small horizontal line. (Fig. 1-1) (b) Horizontally measure 72 mm from the front of truck bed, using marking pencil draw a vertical line. (Fig. 1-1) (c) Set drill stop at 1″ from drill tip. (d) Use a center punch to mark the intersection of the two lines and drill a 7/16″ hole as shown in Fig. 1-1. NOTE: Illustration is for long bed, D-cab short bed uses the same process. 2. D-ring Assembly Preparation Left Side (a) Insert the D-ring Assembly into the previously drilled hole. (b) Hold the D-ring Assembly in place by using a strip of duct tape.

The unit features a guiding handle to reduce stress on the plug connection. Electronic Locking Shotgun Mount This powder-coated aluminum shotgun mount locks electronically via a hidden button and provides full weapon support with a padded yoke at the receiver. Designed for use with the Remington 870®shotgun that has been fitted with a pistol grip and a 14-, 16- or 18-inch barrel.
