The following air cleaner trim insert kits fit all Harley-Davidson Evolution 1340 motors with 8 inch round air cleaners: 29244-97 Satin Chrome 29243-97 Chrome See Service Parts illustration below for kit contents. Installation 1. Remove original screw from air cleaner cover. 2. See Service Parts illustration. Put trim insert (1) into place secure with screw (2). Tighten screw to 3-5 ft-lbs (4-7 Nm)

Install the new ECM, then reinstall the cruise/ reverse control module in the reverse order of removal. NOTE: When you start the vehicle – after completing ALL procedures – the new ECM will require initialization . To initialize the new ECM, perform the following procedure: • Start the bike and allow it to warm up to normal operating temperature and remain at idle for at least 90 seconds . Do not operate the throttle during this time; if you do, the ECU will not initialize properly and the process will need to be repeated. 5. Proceed to the Cylinder Head Inspection section below. Use the Cylinder Head Inspection Kit for the Cylinder Head Inspection procedure. Use the kit for each GL1800/A you inspect. Kit Contents Table 1. Kit Contents Part Number Description (Quantity) Not sold separately Chrome Inner Primary Housing 786A Sealing fastener (5) INSTALLATION NOTES Whenever the sealing fasteners are loosened or removed, they must be replaced. Always replace using Harley-Davidson® Original Equipment sealing fasteners part 786A. Do not use part 786. The primary housing included in this kit installs in the same manner as the stock inner primary housing with the following exception: Use the five sealing fasteners included with this kit. Install and tighten fasteners to the torque specified below. For 2006 Dyna model motorcycles: Remove dowel pins from the chrome inner primary housing before attempting installation. Using a pair of pliers or vice grips, remove the dowel pins by carefully twisting and pulling on the pins. Be careful not to scratch or mar the chrome or sealing surfaces of the chrome inner primary housing. Remove the chain tensioner anchor plate, bolt and screws from the stock inner primary housing after it has been removed, then install it on the chrome inner primary housing. See the appropriate Service Manual for the proper tightening procedure, and torque specifications. 1. See the Drive section of the appropriate Service Manual, and remove the stock inner primary housing. Clean the internal threads in the crankcase and transmission case where the sealing fasteners were removed using a wire brush. Install the chrome inner primary housing as indicated below. Replace the five stock sealing fasteners with the five bolts included in this kit. Put a light coat of primary oil under the head of the sealing fasteners and then tighten to 23-25 ft- lbs (31-34 Nm)

Service Manual for your model motorcycle is available from a Harley-Davidson Dealer. Kit Contents See Figure 1 and Table 1. INSTALLATION 1. Remove and discard previously installed shifter peg from motorcycle. If needed, use a heat gun to apply heat to the shift lever and shifter peg threads to aid in peg removal. 2. See Figure 1. Insert the screw through the peg, tread, spacer (if required) into the shift lever. Tighten screw to 11-15 ft-lbs (15-20 Nm)

These kits are designed for use on all Softail models equipped with Sissy bar Uprights, part number 52735-85. See Service parts below for kit contents. Installation 1. With your hand, feel through the backrest material to locate mounting holes. 2. Carefully cut holes in material at mounting locations as applicable. Cut only enough material away for screw to enter backrest. 3. See Service Parts Illustration. Secure backrest (4) to sissy bar using bracket (3) and pan head screws (1). 4. Install flat head screw (2) through center hole into backrest (4). 5. Tighten all screws securely. Do not overtighten

Congratulations on purchasing your Oggy Knobb kit. It has been designed to reduce damage to your motorcycle from impact and abrasion by the road surface in an accident. We have used only the highest quality materials to achieve the strength and appearance your investment deserves. Carefully read the fitting instructions below and check you kit contents before starting installation. If you are unsure or not confident about installing Oggy Knobbs yourself, see your mechanic. Note-Does not fit pre August 1998 600 & 750 or Montsers using 12mm engine mounting bolt. Instructions: 1. Remove the blanking plugs and engine mounting bolt which passes through the frame and crankcases. The position of this bolt can be seen from the photo above. 2. Fit the supplied threaded rod in place of the original bolt with an even amount projecting from each side. 3. Fit the aluminium spacer on each side making sure the smaller diameter seats inside the recess in the frame. 4. Fit the Oggy Knobb, flat washer, spring washer and nut on each side. 5. Tighten the two nuts firmly against each other making sure that an even amount of thread is exposed on each side once done. The use of a thread locking agent is recommended. Check tightness of the nuts regularly.
