Perimeter sensor – A miniature multi stage microwave sensor that detects motion in mass around the motorcycle, and uniquely protects its parts and accessories. Detects any attempt to tamper with saddlebags, luggage or accessories. • Ignition disable and anti-hijack kit – Allows remote disabling of the motorcycle’s electrical system, should someone force you off your bike. Also prevents the engine from being started when the system is armed. • Back-up battery Transmitter -Built in back up power capacitors with voltage sensing circuitry will ensure operation of the paging system even if wires are cut or battery is disconnected. • Factory Connector Kits -OEM style connectors that simply plug into the motorcycle’s factory wiring harness. Connector kits are available for select motorcycle models.

Draining Brake Fluid NOTE This instruction sheet covers motorcycle models that use either DOT 4 or DOT 5 Hydraulic Brake Fluid. The owner’s manual -J03109 1 of 2 will indicate which type of br ake fluid should be used on the motorcycle. Read and follow the owner’s manual carefully. Direct contact of D.O.T. 5 brake fluid with eyes can cause eye irritation, swelling, and redness. Avoid eye contact. In case of eye contact flush with large amounts of water and get medical attention. Swallowing large amounts of D.O.T. 5 brake fluid can cause digestive discomfort. If swallowed, obtain medical attention. Use in well ventilated area. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. (00144a) Direct contact of D.O.T. 4 brake fluid with eyes can cause irritation. Avoid eye contact. See the service manual and disconnect negative (-) battery cable or remove the main fuse. Save the seat hardware for installation. 2. See Figure 2. Open bleeder nipple cap on front brake caliper. Install end of a length of plastic tubing over caliper bleeder valve (1), while placing free end in a suitable container. Open bleeder valve approximately 1/2 turn. Pump brake lever to drain brake fluid. Repeat step for the other caliper. 3. Remove bolt and two sealing washers to disconnect brake line fitting from master cylinder. Save bolt and discard washers.

These kits fit all motorcycle models equipped with 7-inch headlamps. These kits do not fit models equipped with Headlamp Trim Ring Kits part numbers 69626-99, 69627-99, 69733-05, and 69734-05.INSTALLATION 1. See Figure 1. Remove original equipment bottom screw (1) and trim ring (2). Save parts for later use. 2. See Figure 3 and Table 2. Install headlamp visor (1) from kit and trim ring (A) previously removed. NOTE Make sure the screw holes in the trim ring and the headlamp assembly are aligned as it is difficult to rotate the trim ring when it is fully seated. 3. Loosely install bottom screw (C) previously removed on trim ring. Do not tighten at this time. 4. See Figure 2. Visually check to ensure that rubber bumpers on inside face of headlamp housing are not caught. 5. Snug bottom screw on trim ring and headlamp visor. 6. Rotate visor from side to side around headlamp assembly (B) if ring is caught on face of headlamp. 7. Push down on top of trim ring and push in on the bottom of the trim ring to fully seat the headlamp visor. 8. While tightening the bottom screw, continue to maintain inward pressure on bottom of headlamp visor, until screw is tight and trim ring is fully seated. 3 2 1 is00923 1. Bottom screw 2. Trim ring 3.
