Secure motorcycle to a bike lift and raise the motorcycle. Rear wheel should remain barely resting on the ground. 2. See diagram on page 2 for references made in parentheses, for example (#5). 3. Remove the nut from the rear suspension bolt (#5) at the bottom of the shock (#7). You may need to remove your exhaust and rear horn to access the nut and bolt. 4. Remove this suspension bolt (#5) from the non-exhaust side of the bike. You may need to raise or lower the bike to ease the tension on the bolt in order for it to come out. 5. Next remove the nut (#4) and bolt connecting the relay arm (#3) to the swingarm. From here remove the entire shock assembly and relay arm from the bike. For ease of re-installing the relay arm (Step 8) and shock be sure to take precautions that in removing the assembly, you can put it back the same way you took it off. Flipping of the relay arm can cause serious damage to the lowering kit and surrounding components. 6. Remove the two suspension arms from the relay arm(#3) and shock(#7). Compare stock arm to length of lowering arm you are about to install. Make sure the length of the lowering arm matches the link of the stock arm. To set how much you want to lower the bike, lengthen the lowering arms. Every 1/4″ longer than stock is approximately 1″ of drop. Do not lower the bike more than 2″ for safety reasons. To adjust, unscrew the large hex shaft from the threaded rods. Make sure to adjust length equally on both shafts. Be sure to tighten all jam nuts once desired lowering position is set. 7. Re-assemble the lowering arms to the top of the shock (#7) using the supplied collar, nut, and bolt. The stock collar (#6), the one in the eyelet at the top of the shock (#7), will need to be removed as it is too long. (This is because the heims are thicker than the stock arms) Do not tighten the nut, or re-install into the frame yet. 8. Re-install the relay arm (#3) to the swingarm. Install Motoworks header pipe using stock nuts, finger tight at this point ( Fig 4) 2. Install Motoworks tailpipe with muffler using bolt and spacer supplied in kit on upper rear mount, use stock nut and bolt on lower mount finger tight at this point. (Fig 5 and 6) 3. To ensure no paint damage from a brake fluid spill, completely cover the front end of the bike. This process is messy, and brake fluid WILL drip! Step 3: Uninstall stock hoses; be aware of how the stock system was routed in case you need to re-install it. Make sure to save the nut and bolt that are currently holding the stock lower section of the hoses. (See picture A) Step 4: Install the Galfer adapters onto the right and left calipers. Thread each adapter into the calipers with one washer, and torque at 12 to 13 ft pounds. Step 5: Install the right and left lines to the calipers, using the shorter line on the right side. These lines will travel from the master cylinder to the calipers; a double banjo bolt is included to run two lines down. The positioning sequence on the master cylinder is as follows: Master cylinder, washer, 40-degree banjo from right line, washer, 40-degree banjo from left line, washer, and double banjo hex. Double banjo bolt torque level is 12 FT Pounds. (For positioning see picture B) . Make sure that the 90-degree fittings on each caliper are pointing straight up (see picture C) . Thread each banjo end onto the adapter, and torque to 6 ½ Ft pounds. Please tighten the “C” clips on the fender using the OEM bolts we asked you to save above. Before you proceed to the next step, please check for clearance of the lines. Compress the front end to make sure that the lines are not binding with anything. When the front end is fully extended or fully compressed, double check that the lines are traveling correctly and clear from any obstructions. Once the lines have been checked for clearance, using the galfer 2line clip to bring the lines together and mounting it to the triple tree will insure proper clearness and routing. (See picture D) Step 6: Bleed brake system according to owner’s manual, and build appropriate pressure. Finishing with Galfer DOT 4- brake fluid is recommended.

1. Remove the driver board pivot bolts and lock nuts. 2. Install the new driver board in the same locations as the stock boards were removed from. Install the bolts and lock nuts. The driver board bolts should be tightened only enough to seat the nut and bolt head. The driver boards should pivot up approximately 20 degrees freely. Check that the lock nuts are secure.

brakes: Inspect brake cables/hoses/linkage for correct mounting, chafing, leaks and damage. Check and adjust both front and rear brakes. If hydraulic, check fluid level and correct if necessary (DOT 4 fluid only). Engine: Check and correct the engine oil level. Fuel system: Check fuel tank, carburetor, fuel valve and all hoses for leaks. Throttle system: Check for correct throttle cable routing. Throttle operates smoothly and self-returns to idle from all handlebar positions. Wheels/tires: Check wheels, tires and valve stem for damage, etc. Check and adjust tire pressures. 11 Suspension: Check for smooth suspension operation. Lubricate all grease points using correct specification grease. Check for correct suspension adjustments. Inspect fork and shock seals for leaks. Steering: Check for smooth steering operation and handlebar bearings for proper adjustments. Electrical Systems: Check for correct function of all side, headlight (high/low beam) and taillights, turn indicators, brake lights, warning lights and instrument illumination. Check for correct horn operation. Check harnesses for correct routing. Check for correct function of starter lockout system. Check for correct engine stop switch operation. Check for correct function of the low oil warning light. (2 stroke only) Emission Systems: Check connections and hoses for routing and kinks.
12 Fastening hardware: Check front and rear axle nut and bolt torque. Check torque of drain plug and oil filter bolt. Check torque of all brake system nuts and bolts. Check torque of all steering system mounting hardware. Check torque of exhaust mounting hardware. Check torque of all remaining nuts, bolts & screws. Road test Front and rear brake operation. (approx. 10km): Check cold engine start performance. Evaluate performance, handling and braking. After road testing: Check hot engine starting. Check and adjust idle speed. Check for oil and fuel leaks. Make necessary adjustments and repair any defects seen or observed before, during and after test drive. Retest as necessary. Clean the vehicle prior to deliver
