1. Remove the 12mm nuts located behind the stock foot peg assemblies and remove the peg sets. 2. Starting on the left side locate the left floorboard assembly and left round chrome spacer block. These will be stamped with an” L” on the back side. Insert two of the 3/16″ x 1/2″ dowel pins supplied into the two holes where the foot peg was mounted at one o’clock and seven o’clock. Place the spacer blocks backside (stamped with the L) onto the pins 3. Place two more of the dowel pins in the holes on the outside of the block using the holes at twelve o’clock and six o’clock. Place the left floorboard assembly onto the spacer block and pins so that it is parallel to the ground or horizontal (this will be the holes closest to six and twelve o’clock on the backside of the floorboard assembly). Insert one of the 5/16″ x 2″ socket head bolts into the center-mounting hole. Place one of the 5/16″ washers, lock washers and nuts onto the bolt and make finger tight. Recheck to be sure the floorboard is parallel to the ground. 4. On the right side install two more of the dowel pins supplied into holes where the foot peg was mounted at eleven o’clock and five o’clock. Place the remaining spacers backside (stamped with an R) onto the pins 5. Place the remaining two dowel pins supplied into the holes of the spacer block at six o’clock and twelve o’clock. Place the right floorboard assembly onto the spacer block and pins so that it is parallel to the ground or horizontal (this will be the holes closest to six and twelve o’clock on the backside of the floorboard assembly). Insert one of the 5/16″ x 2″ socket head bolts into the center-mounting hole. Place one of the 5/16″ washers, lock washers and nuts onto the bolt and make finger tight. Recheck to be sure the floorboard is parallel to the ground. NOTE; if you are also installing the TA005-5 relocation arms, follow those instructions next. Finally be sure to tighten all bolts securely

1. If you are installing Relocation Arms and Passenger Floorboards, install the floorboards first per their instructions. When installing the Relocation Arms with Passenger Floorboards already installed proceed as follows. 2. Starting on the LEFT side, fold the floorboard up. Remove the socket head bolt which secures the floorboard to the motorcycles stock peg support and remove the floorboard taking notice of which pinholes the dowel pins are located in. 3. Locate the Relocation Arm that has an “L” stamped on the backside of it. Place two of the supplied dowel pins into one of the two sets of the pinholes in the backside of the arm that are directly across from one another. (180 degrees apart.) Place the arm onto the mounting block and align the pins in the arm with the holes closest to the desired height you wish the floorboard to be at. Bolt the arm to the mounting block loosely using one of the supplied 5/16″ X 1″ button head bolts. 4. Place the Passenger Floorboard with its two dowel pins into the set of pinholes at the other end of the relocation arm that allows the floorboard to be parallel (horizontal) to the ground. Use one of the supplied 5/16″ X 3/4″ socket head bolts to mount the floorboard to the relocation arm and make finger tight. 5. Install the RIGHT side in the same manner. Check to see that the right arm is at the same height and/or position as the left. Bolt the floorboard to the other end of the arm using the remaining dowel pins and socket head bolt. Tighten all four bolts on both sides securely. NOTE: Four other height positions are possible by using the other sets of holes on the front side of the mounting block and backside of the relocation arm

1. If you are installing the relocation arms at the same time as the floorboards follow their instructions first and then refer to this sheet. 2. Fold the floorboards up, remove the allen screws that attach them to the round spacers, remove the floorboards and set aside. 3. Install the left and right relocation arms (marked with an L and R on the back side) onto the pins of the round spacers in the upper or lower position as desired. Using the allen screws and washers supplied bolt the arms to the round spacers and tighten securely. 4. Re-install the floorboards onto the relocation arms placing the supplied dowel pins into the set of holes on the relocation arms that allow the floorboards to be level or parallel with the ground. Install and tighten the allen screws removed earlier

HONDA GL18005 Passenger Floor Board Risers Installation Instructions

Flip the passenger floorboards in the up or closed position. Remove the four (4) allen bolts that attach them to the frame. Install the carriage bolts (round heads) into the backside of the risers (side opposite of recess for mounting screws). Then the plastic washer, next the floorboard, then a washer, lock washer and nut but do not tighten yet. Install the riser floorboard assembly back onto the frame using the original allen bolts and placing the aluminum spacers between the risers and the frame, tighten securely. Note: the curved slots should sweep up and back towards the rear of the motorcycle. You may reverse the left and rights so that the slots curve forward to gain further forward placement of the passenger’s feet if desired. Set floorboards to desired height and tighten securely

1. If you are installing the link arms at the same time as the passenger floorboards first install the floorboards per their instructions. 2. Fold the boards up in the retracted position. Remove the allen screws that secure the boards to the black mounting blocks & remove the boards. Note there are two dowel pins between the mounts and the backside of the boards, remove these dowel pins and place them in the holes in the link arms. 3. Place the link arms onto the black mounting blocks: Note the cutout on the back of the link arm; this engages the edge of the black mounting blocks. (The link arms should face forward and curve upward.) Install the allen screws and washers removed earlier & tighten securely. 4. Place the dowel pins removed earlier into the holes in the link arms. Place the floorboard assemblies onto the link arms. Install the allen screws and washers provided and tighten securely.

1. Remove the seat. Remove the Phillips screws securing the two small black covers on either side of the battery and remove the covers. Next remove the two Phillips screws securing the chrome side covers. Remove the side covers by prying out on the lower front corners with your fingers. Slide the covers to the rear and down to disengage from their rear mounting hooks. Set the covers aside. 2. Beginning on the right side locate the lower sub frame mounting bolt (17mmm wrench size) see (1A) Located behind the sub frame near the head of this bolt you will find a wire clip. Using a blade screwdriver open the clip and push the wires up out of the way. Remove the lower sub frame nut and bolt. Remove the muffler mounting bolt (1B). 3. Locate the right hand mount assembly. Remove the small “L” shaped clamp from the mount. Locate the large (12x 50mm) bolt and two 12mm washers (supplied). Place the bolt thru the hole in the mount. Next place the two washers onto the bolt. Install the assembly onto the frame as shown in photo (2). Reinstall the muffler mounting bolt. It may help to lift on the muffler while trying to get the bolt started). Install the original 12mm flange nut removed earlier onto the new 12mm bolt. Tighten the 12mm bolt and muffler mounting bolts securely (55 ft. lbs. on the 12mm and 12 ft. lbs. on the muffler). Install the “L” clamp as shown in (2A) with the tab facing downward and resting on the muffler mount and tighten securely. Place the wires back into the clip and snap the clip closed

Disassembly of motorcycle: 1. Place the motorcycle on the center stand or lift. 2. Set the shock preload to zero. 3. Remove the four m8 x 1.25 SHCS from the passenger handles and remove seat. 4. Remove the rear side covers. 5. Disconnect negative battery terminal. 6. Remove the four m8 x 1.25 SHCS and the passenger floorboards. 7. Remove the six m5 x 0.80 BHCS and the foot rest under cover. 8. Remove the six m5 x .80 BHCS and the swing arm pivot bolt covers. 9. Remove the four m8 x 1.25 flange bolts on the rear crash guards. Remove and discard the rear crash guards and bolts. 10. Remove the four #2 Phillips head screws from the inside of the trunk to remove the trim pieces on the sides. 11. Remove the two #2 Phillips head screws in the rear trim molding and remove molding. 12. Remove the seven #2 Phillips head screws from the lower trunk cover. Remove the lower trunk cover. 13. Remove the five #2 Phillips head screws from the trunk opener cover. Remove the trunk opener cover. 14. Disconnect the left and right saddlebag release cables. 15. Remove the five m6 x 1.0 BHCS in the rear fender panel. Remove and discard the rear fender panel and cap screws. 16. Disconnect the trunk wiring. 17. Remove the four m6 x 1.0 flange screws. Remove the trunk from the saddlebag / trunk stay. 7 18. 2005 and older 2005 and older 2005 and older 2005 and older ABS equipped motorcycles: ABS equipped motorcycles: ABS equipped motorcycles: ABS equipped motorcycles: Remove rubber bungee from ABS Control Unit, and save for reinstallation. 19. Remove the two side cover grommets from each saddlebag. ( 4 grommets total ) 20. Remove the left and right hand saddlebag latches, strikers, and release cables for core parts return. Refer to Honda service manual. 21. Remove the left and right saddlebag taillights and sub- harnesses for core parts return . Refer to Honda service manual. 22. Remove the four m6 x 1.0 flange bolts from each saddlebag. Remove and discard the saddlebags. 23. Remove the six m6 x 1.0 flange bolts from the exhaust tips. Slide the tip off the muffler body. Save tips and bolts for reinstallation. 24. Loosen the four m8 x 1.25 SHCS on the muffler clamps. Remove the two m8 x 1.25 flange bolts. Remove and discard the mufflers and muffler gaskets. 25. Remove the four m6 x 1.0 BHCS, two rubber washers, and front fender A. 26. Remove the four m5 x .80 BHCS and chrome front fender covers. 27. 2006 & UP. 2006 & UP. 2006 & UP. 2006 & UP. 1. Fasten floorboard assembly to mounting bracket using supplied 3/8″ x 3/4″ bolt, flat washer and lockwasher. Do not tighten at this time (Baron recommends the use of blue Loctite on this bolt). 2. Set floorboard angle by installing flathead allen adjusting screw in the pivot bracket at the desired angle hole. Baron floorboards set to a 15-degree position has been found to be most comfortable and user friendly. Tighten flathead screw. Adjust side tilt angle by moving floorboard stop screw in or out to achieve desired angle. 3. Now fully tighten the 3/8″ bolt. Floorboard is ready for installation. Installation 1. Remove the nuts that attach your stock passenger peg mounting brackets to the frame and remove stock pegs. 2. Install your new Baron floorboards in the same location using supplied M8 mounting bolts and washers. Be sure you dont over-tighten these bolts. It is best to use Loctite when mounting. Adjustment of Floorboard Angle After Installation 1. Using a 9/16″ wrench, slightly loosen the 3/8″ bracket bolt located on the backside of the mounting bracket the floorboard is attached to. 2. Remove the small allen screw located on visible side of the cam bracket. Once this screw is removed, adjust the cam to the desired hole and insert and tighten allen screw. 3. Re-tighten 3/8″ bolt. Repeat process on both sides. NOTE: All adjustments may not be available with all exhaust systems
