Remove the tiny snap ring at the bottom of the the footpeg pivot pin. Attention: the original pin, snap ring, main spring, and bushing will be re-used! When the pivot pin is pulled out the spring and these other parts may jump out. Install only the lower structure of the footpeg. You can set your chosen height position later. Note: The main footpeg spring is positioned such that the short leg is upward and the long leg inserts into the large square hole at the footpeg mount. Pay attention to left and right side by looking at the photos. The pin re-inserts downward again from above, through the footpeg, spring, bushing, and then re-secured again with the original snap ring. Insert the pin thru the frame clevis and into one layer of the footpeg clevis. Lever the spring and bushing into place with a screwdriver, and then insert the pin alll the way through. Install the upper footpeg part with the nuts and washers on the inside. Tighten the six M6 buttonhead screws to 10 Nm. Check tightness after 30 miles. For all other connections please refer to manufacturer recommendations
