Begin by removing the front fascia and front skid plate on the vehicle as shown in figure 1. Save the fasteners as they will be used later to re-install the front fascia and skid plate. 2. Remove the 8mm bolts on both sides located inside the front tires and on the ends of two horizontal tubes on the front tube frame as shown in figure 2. 3. Place the mounting plate (A1) inside the front tube frame. The tabs with the slotted holes facing down. The slotted tabs should align where the
two 8mm bolts were removed in step 2. Reinstall these two bolts at this time thighten to just fingertight. Install the two 1/4-20 u-bolts (B3) and locking hex nuts (B1) and flat washers (B7) at thism time see figure 3, do not tighten down at this time. so the plate can be adjusted for position see figure 2. 4. Place the rear support bracket (A4) into position
and attach with the two 5/16-18 x 3/4 hex cap screws (B6), flat washer (B5) and locking nut (B4). Adjust the position of the support bracket so that it comes in contact with the frame tubes and tighten the fasteners see figures 3 and 4.
Make sure the support bracket maintains contact with the rear frame tubes and tighten down the two front 8mm mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to a recommended torque of 12 ft-lb (17 N-m). 5. Attach the fairlead bracket support (A2) to the front frame tubes see figure 5. The support bracket attaches behind the front tubes. Space the bracket away from the tubes using the spacer brackets (A3). Attach the brackets using the 1/4- 20 u-bolts (B2), lock nuts (B1) and flat washers (B7). Before tightening the u-bolts make sure the bracket is in the correct position by fitting the front
fasica into postion and checking location. Tighten the nuts to a recommended torque of 7 ft-lb (10 N-m). NOTE: If this kit is being installed on a 00 to 03 Honda the wider fairlead bracket (A2) will need to be used. This will require the use of the
wider u-bolts (B3). The spacer brkts (A3) will not be required when installing the wider fairlead brkt

Begin by removing the front skid plate located on the front of the ATV. Remove the four side 8mm bolts and four bottom 6mm bolts securing the front skid plate, figure 1. Save the fasteners as they will be used later to reinstall the front skid plate. 2. Remove the four plastic rivets on each side of the front plastic fascia, figure 2. Use a large screw driver to carefully remove the center rivet. After removing the center rivet, remove the rivet housing. Save the fasteners as they will be used to reinstall the front plastic fascia. 3. Remove the two 6mm bolts that attach the front plastic fascia to the bumper, figure 3. Remove the front plastic fascia at this time . Remove the two 6mm bolts that attach the front bumper to the plastic headlight assembly, figure 4. Save the fasteners as they will be used to reinstall the front bumper. 5. Remove the two top 8mm bumper bolts that attach the front bumper to the front rack, figure 5. Save the fasteners as they will be used to reinstall the front bumper. Figure 5 Remove Top Bumper Bolts Remove (both sides) 6. Remove the two ottom bumper bolts that attach the bumper to the bottom of the vehicle frame, figure 6. Save the fasteners as they will be used to reinstall the front bumper

FRONT OF 4RUNNER/FJ CRUISER 1. Park vehicle on level concrete surface. 2. Center and lock the steering wheel.
3. Block the rear wheels of the vehicle to prevent vehicle from moving in either direction. 4. Before lifting vehicle, remove rear shock absorbers and discard. 5. Jack up the vehicle from the lift point in Figure A. 6. Support the vehicle with jack stands from the points in Figure A. 7. Remove the front wheels. 8. Remove sway bar end links from spindle using 17mm socket (both sides). See Figure B. 9. Remove front skid plate using 12mm socket. 10. Remove sway bar from frame using 14mm socket. See Figure C. 11. Using 19mm socket, remove lower bolt and nut from the bottom of the strut (both sides). 12. Remove cotter key and 19mm nut from outer tie rod end, rack &
pinion utilizing a tie rod end puller (or pickle fork). 13. Remove the three nuts (14mm) from the top of the strut. See Figure D. 14. Remove the struts from the vehicle, making sure that they are marked driver and passenger side respectively for reinstallation.

Remove the gear shift lever bolt by using a 5mm Allen wrench. Insert the wrench through the hole in the skid plate. Holding the gear shifter up in second gear makes it easier to align the wrench into the head of the bolt. Pull the gear shift lever as far as possible towards the chain. (The chain does not have to be removed in order to remove the ignition cover and flywheel) Remove the three ignition cover bolts by using a 4mm Allen wrench. Carefully remove the ignition cover-which requires a little twisting and some outward pressure on the gear shift lever. The shift lever may also have to be pressed down into the first gear position. Inspect the rubber ring gasket for cracks or cuts while the ignition cover is off. Replace if necessary. We recommended applying a ring of high grade silicone sealant to further improve the seal of the rubber ring gasket. Tap a chisel-mark across the flywheel retaining nut and the crankshaft by using a small, sharp chisel. This mark serves as a reference point for retightening the flywheel in its original position during reassembly.

1. Let skid sit in sun or inside house at room temperature for a couple hours. Cold weather can shrink plastic slightly but this is not an issue once installed. 2. Remove Stock Teryx Hardware/skids and set aside hardware to use on new skid 3. You have a couple options in mounting the new skids. 1) remove stock metal engine inspection cover underneath Teryx, or 2) using UHMW skid as template cut out hole in inspection cover (A below) to allow access to oil filter. Cut hole substantially larger than skid hole so as not to cut yourself when removing/installing oil filter 5. Fasten all main skid bolts and washers, but do not tighten all the way so that you are able to move skid slightly to center all bolt holes. 6. Fasten all front and rear skid bolts and washers, but do not tighten all the way so that you are able to move skid slightly to center all bolt holes. . Once skids are in desired location tighten all bolts 9. You will be required to drill 2 – 3/16 pilot holes in the 2 rear most main skid mounting locations. Use the supplied self tapping bolts and washers to attach skid in these locations

1) Place jack under center of ATV front end and lift until front wheels clear the ground. Be careful to support ATV properly so that it is securely supported but so that A-arms and shocks can droop to full extension. 2) Remove front wheels. 3) Remove or loosen front plastic. 4) Remove C-clip and nut at the top of the strut. 5) Screw bracket “A” on top of strut to the same torque specifications as the nut. 6) Place the top adapter “A” through the top of the strut mount, and screw the original nut on the top of bracket “A” securing it to the strut mount. Tighten this nut to the required manufacturer specifications and replace the factory C-clip. 7) Repeat the procedure for the other side. 8) Install the wheels, torque wheel lug nuts to manufacturer’s specifications, lower and remove jack. Check for clearance problems or misalignment. Rear Lift 1) Place jack under ATV at the rear of the bottom skid plate and lift until the weight is off of the suspension. Be careful to secure the ATV properly so as not to fall off the jack. 2) Remove the bottom of the shock from the shock mount on the axle. 3) After removing the shock, jack the ATV up 1″-2″ further. 4) Place Bracket “B” between the shock and shock mount with the notched out ends facing downward. Insert stock bolt to secure bracket “B” to the shock mount and the shock. Fasten nut. 5) Insert the new 12x75mm Bolt to the top of bracket “B” and the shock eyelet and secure with a new 12mm nut. 6) Tighten all nuts and bolts to manufacturer’s torque specifications. 7) Install the wheels, torque wheel lug nuts to manufacturer’s specifications, lower and remove jack. Check for clearance problems or misalignment.
