INSTALLATION 1. Install the grab strap (4) with the seat mounting studs (A) through the inner grab strap holes (F). 2. Refer to solo seat instruction sheet for installation of rider seat (C) and backrest (D). 3. Install the mounting nuts (E). 4. Tighten nuts snugly. 5. Slide slots on leading edge of passenger pillion (1) onto seat mounting studs (A) while sliding the pillion through the grab strap. 6. Install mounting screw (B) from stock seat through the mounting tab and tighten to 36-60 in-lbs (4-7 Nm) . After installing seat, pull upward on seat to be sure it is locked in position. While riding, a loose seat can shift causing loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00070b) 7. Pull on seat and pillion to verify they are securely installed. INSTALLATION 1. Remove the locknuts and screws that hold the existing footpegs in place. If the motorcycle is equipped with a pin and retaining ring, remove them and retain for future use. Save all hardware for installation of the new footpegs. 2. Remove the existing footpegs and the spring washers. Save the spring washers for installation. NOTE See Figure 1. When performing the next step, verify that the spring washer is positioned inside of the footpeg support with the square edge (2) towards the inside of the support. 1 3 2 is02094 1. Spring washer 2. Insert a spring washer (1) and the mount end of the footpeg inside the slots (3) of the footpeg supports. 4. Secure each footpeg and spring washer to the footpeg support with the screw and locknuts or pin and retaining rings removed earlier. Tighten the locknuts to 19 ft-lb (26 Nm) . Footrests must fold up and toward rear of motorcycle if struck. Failure to set footrests to fold up and back could result in death or serious injury. (00366a) Position footpegs so rider can operate foot controls without interference. Failure to have full access to foot controls can cause loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00313a)

INSTALLATION 1. See Figure 1. Remove locknuts (1) and screws (2) that hold existing footpegs in place. Save hardware for installation of new footpegs. 2. Remove existing footpegs along with spring washers (3). Save spring washers for installation of new footpegs. 3. Install new footpegs in the same manner as old footpegs were installed: •Place a spring washer (3), along with the mount end of the footpeg, inside the slots of the footpeg supports (4). •Make sure the spring washer is positioned inside the footpeg support with the square edge toward the inside of the support. •Secure each footpeg and spring washer with a screw (2) and locknut (1). •Tighten locknuts to 19 ft-lbs (26 Nm) . Footrests must fold up and toward rear of motorcycle if struck. Failure to set footrests to fold up and back could result in death or serious injury. (00366a) 4. For each footpeg, remove the screw (5) and rubber pad (6). Loosen the adjusting screw (7) until the footpeg (8) rotates. Position the footpeg (8) as desired, then tighten the adjusting screw to 19 ft-lbs (26 Nm) . Place the rubber pad (6) on the footpeg and tighten the screw (5)

INSTALLATION 1. See Figure 1. If necessary, cut the plastic rain seal away from the three pre-cut screw holes (D) in the backrest pad (1) to prevent the plastic from catching in the threads. 2. On motorcycles with Detachable Sissy Bar Upright installed: a. Install three long spacers (3) into the pre-cut holes in the backrest pad. b. Position the backrest pad against the sissy bar upright (A). On motorcycles with Detachable Short Passenger Sissy Bar Upright installed: a. Install three long spacers (3) into the pre-cut holes in the backrest pad. b. Position the backrest pad against the detachable short passenger sissy bar upright (B), inserting the three spacers through the slots in the sissy bar tabs (C). On motorcycles with Luggage installed: a. Install three short spacers (4) into the pre-cut holes in the backrest pad. b. Position the backrest pad against the upright (A). 3. Place the mounting bracket (2) against the spacers, so that the holes of the mounting bracket align with the spacers. NOTE To avoid misalignment and cross threading of the screws, start all three screws into the backrest before tightening. 4. Insert a screw (5) from the kit through one of the spacers, and carefully thread it 4-5 turns into the mating hole in the backrest pad. Repeat with the other two screws. DO NOT tighten a screw until all three screws have been started. NOTE Spacers must seat squarely against the mounting bracket. 5. Once all three screws have been carefully started into the three holes of the backrest pad, tighten the screws to 7-10 in-lbs (0.8-1.1 Nm)

Place a spring washer, along with the mount end of the footpeg, inside the slots of the footpeg supports. Make sure the spring washer is positioned inside the footpeg support with the square edge towards the inside of support as shown at the bottom of Figure 1. 4. Secure each footpeg and spring washer with the screw and locknut removed earlier. Tighten the locknuts to 19 ft-lbs (26 Nm) . 5. For each footpeg, loosen the adjusting screw in the recessed hole until the footpeg rotates. Position the footpeg as desired, then tighten the adjusting screw as follows: For Kits 50133-95, 50134-95 or 50500-03: Tighten to 21 ft-lbs (29 Nm) . For Kit 50474-03: Tighten to 14-16 ft-lbs (19-22 Nm)

REMOVAL NOTE Refer to owner’s manual or service manual for seat removal instructions for your model. 1. Remove right and left saddlebags according to the instructions in the service manual. Save saddlebag mounting brackets and hardware. 2. Remove passenger seat strap. Discard passenger seat strap. 3. Remove existing seat from vehicle. 4. See Figure 1. Remove and discard stock nuts (2) from studs (1) on rear fender (3). INSTALLATION Install Rider Seat 1. Push front seat on frame with mounting bracket at rear. 2. Firmly push front of seat downward and rearward until frame tongue engages slot in seat. 3. Push seat forward until studs are centered in slots of mounting bracket. 4. See Figure 4. Install two nuts (4) on studs to secure rear seat mounting bracket to rear fender. Alternately tighten nuts to 60-96 in-lbs (6.8-10.9 Nm). 5. If installing a new passenger seat, refer to the instructions included with the kit. After installing seat, pull upward on seat to be sure it is locked in position. While riding, a loose seat can shift causing loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00070b) 6. If installing passenger seat, install passenger seat strap following the instructions in the service manual. 7. Slide the backrest shaft (2) through the flaps and into the receptacle in the seat. 2. While pushing down on the backrest assembly, twist the backrest counterclockwise until the shaft hits the stop. 3. Verify that the backrest assembly is locked in place by pulling up in the backrest pad

1. Remove the passenger foot pegs pivot bolts and nuts. Remove the pegs, springs, detent ball and shims. 2. Locate the black mounting blocks supplied, notice they are marked “L” and “R” on their outer face. Install the blocks into the slots or clevises where you removed the foot pegs the tapered end should be facing down and the “L” and “R” to the outside. Install the original bolts and nuts removed earlier and tighten the bolts securely

Flip the passenger floorboards in the up or closed position. Remove the four (4) allen bolts that attach them to the frame. Install the carriage bolts (round heads) into the backside of the risers (side opposite of recess for mounting screws). Then the plastic washer, next the floorboard, then a washer, lock washer and nut but do not tighten yet. Install the riser floorboard assembly back onto the frame using the original allen bolts and placing the aluminum spacers between the risers and the frame, tighten securely. Note: the curved slots should sweep up and back towards the rear of the motorcycle. You may reverse the left and rights so that the slots curve forward to gain further forward placement of the passenger’s feet if desired. Set floorboards to desired height and tighten securely
