Installation of the ORION mobile radio and control unit consists of: •Assembling and installing the weather resistant motorcycle case assembly, including the adapter bracket, case/antenna mounting bracket, and bottom case (previously assembled) to the motorcycle mounting bracket (user supplied). •Installing the radio in the radio mounting bracket located inside the weather-resistant case, •Installing the control unit, microphone, and speaker •Installing the antenna •Routing the power, control, and option cables •Connecting all cables including: power, control, and option cables. •Installing the Headset Option •Operational check All mounting hardware consists of stainless steel screws, locknuts, nuts, and lockwashers to resist corrosion. EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION Assembling & Installing The Weather Resistant Case As- sembly The motorcycle Weather Resistant Case Assembly may be installed on almost any motorcycle. Installation instructions provided here include information for the Harley-Davidson Dyna and Road King models and the Kawasaki K1000. Figure 5 illustrates installation on Harley-Davidson motorcycles while Figure 6 illustrates installation on a Kawasaki K1000. Refer to these diagrams during installation. Installation on other motorcycles is at the discretion of the installer. Harley-Davidson Installation 1. Unpack the weather resistant motorcycle case, remove the key taped to the top cover and open the case. 2. Refer to Figure 5 and verify that all components shown in the diagram are available. 3. Mount the adapter bracket onto the Dyna or Road King radio mounting bracket (user supplied) using the 1/4-20 x 5/8 screws provided

1. Remove Headlight from Headlight Shell (Screwdriver) set aside. 2. Disconnect Turnsignal wires behind or inside Headlight Shell. 3. Unbolt Headlight Shell from Eyebrow (3/4″ Socket & Wrench). Let hang from wires. 4. Remove front Turnsignal Assemblies from motorcycle. 4a. If Turnsignals are mounted to the Handlebar use the 1/2″ Wrench. 4b. For fork mounted Turnsignals, 1996 to current, use the Torx Wrench 4c. For fork mounted Turnsignals 1987-92 use the 5/16 Hex Key Set turnsignals aside, they will not be reused. 5. Remove screw from Brake Hose Clamp and Clutch Cable Guide (Hex Key Wrench, 3/16″) located on the bottom of the lower Triple Clamp. Set aside, it will not be reused. 6 . Remove the Pinch Bolts from the lower Triple Clamp (Torx Wrench, 1993 to Current, or 5/16 Hex Key, 1987 to 92). Set aside, they will not be reused. INSTALLATION 1. Mount the Light Bar Assembly: A. Hold the Light Bar assembly up to the lower Triple Clamp, the center bracket will be below the Triple Clamp. B. Start the 1/4-20 x 3/4 Screw, with Washer, through the Brake Hose Clamp, clutch cable guide then the center bracket and into the threaded hole previously used for the Brake Hose Clamp. C. Position a Spacer between the Outer Brackets and the Triple Clamp and start the 3/8-16 x 2″ Hex Bolts through the Outer Bracket, then the Spacer and into the Pinch bolt location on the lower Triple Clamp. Do this on both sides of the lower Triple Clamp.

Gather together the following items that you will need to complete this installation. a) lathe b) 3/8″ electric hand drill c) 9/32″ diameter transfer punch SERVO Turbo Drive Model 9808T Page 2 d) .4375 drill, 3/16″ drill, #7 drill e) 1/4-20 tap f) 3/4″ socket wrench g) set of inch hex wrenches h) clean shop rag Step 2: Clean the power feed mounting area completely. Step 3: Remove the drive clutch nut and the drive clutch from the elevating jack shaft. Step 4: Remove the dial nut, dial, and dial carrier. Keep the dial for reuse later. Step 5: Remove the existing bearing retainer. Keep the screws for reuse later. Step 6: Pull jack shaft out of knee. Hold inboard end up while removing to avoid damage to the pinion gear. Step 7: Press the bearing off the jack shaft. Step 8: Drill and ream the end of the jack shaft .4375″ diameter by 13/16″ deep. The .4375″ dia. must be concentric to the shaft O.D. within .002″ T.I.R. Chamfer 1/32″ x 1/2″ diameter. For best results, machining should be done in a lathe. Step 9: Place the shaft extension #6975 into the end of the jack shaft. Finish drill 3/16″ diameter through the shaft and pin the extension with the 3/16″ diameter x 5/8″ long roll pin. File smooth. Step 10: Reassemble and replace the jack shaft in the machine. Step 11: Replace the existing bearing retainer with #57904 retainer provided. Secure using existing screws. Step 12: Slip spacer #5426 and bearing race #1616 onto the jack shaft. Slide the adaptor #0771 over the bearing race and locate against front of the knee.

In order to keep the proper balance on the bike lift, I would suggest that the front wheel be removed first, this is comparatively easier than the rear wheel which will be explained later. Front wheel removal : Remove the end caps, remove the front axle “Pinch Bolt” front left fork ( item (2) in manual ) remove caliper bolts both (2) both sides (2003 model year) secure calipers, secure wheel from dropping while removing axle from left side. Remove front axle, caution : there are (2) spacers on this axle, left & right, make sure you mark them, as they are both different in shape & in length, & must be re-assembled in same order to provide proper cetrallity of the front wheel with the forks & the brake calipers.both spacers have large flanges which go towards the bearing, the right spacer has (2) flanges, the largest dia. goes towards the bearing. ( very important) Now comes the tough part, I had the original stock pipes, so if you have different pipes, or your bike is a different year, (2003) your choices may be different from mine. Remove OEM right side saddlebag, slack off muffler coupling brackets # 8 & # 8a which connect muffler crossover tank to top muffler, this is where the power of the allen socket wrench set will come in handy, they’re pretty tight with the heat,remove top exhaust pipe bracket bolt (item 19 in manual) the top exhaust pipe should now swing down clear of the rear axle. You may be forced to provide more room for the exit and/or re-installation of the rear wheel by removing the bolt which secures the underside mufflet tank on the lower left side of the frame, (item # 13 in manual) then the (2) bolts, ( items # 14 in manual) which will allow the rear muffler body ( lower exhaust pipe ) to be pulled over to the right to provide access for easier rear wheel entry or removal

This kit fits all 1999 through 2005 Electra Glide model motorcycles with passenger handrail. Kit Contents See Figure 1 for a list of the kit contents. No Service Parts are available for this kit. INSTALLATION NOTE The passenger handrail grips are side-specific. Install the grips so that the Bar-and-Shield logo is oriented properly. 1. See Figure 1. Obtain a rubber grip insert (4) from the kit. 2. Open up the rubber insert along the horizontal split (A), and fit it over the forward curve of the handrail. Ensure that the insert is positioned to fit the curve properly, with no kinks or gaps. 3. Obtain an inner grip (1), the correct-side outer grip (2 or 3), and six screws (5) from the kit. 4. Position the inner and outer grips over the insert, pressing them firmly together and lining up the holes. 5. Insert a screw through one of the holes in the inner grip, and carefully thread part way into the mating hole in the outer grip. Repeat for the remaining five screws. 6. Use the hex socket wrench (6) provided to tighten all six screws securely. 7. Repeat Steps 1 through 6 for the opposite side

1.Remove the transmission cover and inspect the belt for wear, damage, or breaks. 2.Fraying on sides of belt is considered normal. 3.To replace the belt, remove the clutches and remove the old belt. Install new belt onto clutches and simultaneously install the clutches. Refer to “Clutches” for more detailed information. CLUTCHES: Tools Needed for Service: Transmission Removal A1.) Remove the bolts holding on the transmission cover with a 6mm Allen Wrench and remove the cover away from the motorcycle. Refer to bolt #11 in Figure 3. •6mm Allen Wrench •Torque Wrench •5/16 Allen Wrench •1-1/8″ Socket Wrench •Chisel •Hammer Figure 3
A2.) Bend the tab on the driven washer with a chisel. Remove both the bolt and nut holding the clutches onto the transmission as well as the washers. Refer to numbers 5,6,8 and 9 in Figure 3. Number 9 is for the drive and number 6 is for the driven. Use a 5/16 Allen for the bolt and a 1-1/8 socket wrench for the nut. A3.) Remove the drive and driven at the same time. Remove the belt from the clutches. Refer to number 3 in Figure 3. Drive Clutch Service B1.) Remove the clutch cover by bending down the tabs and removing the bolts. Refer to Figure 4. B2.) Remove the snap ring using a pair of snap-ring pliers. See Figure 5. *NOTE: Make sure to use caution when removing the snap ring. The snap ring can “spring” off during removal and can cause damage to the eyes if not careful.

This is a step by step instruction on the new 4.0 version of the Speedo Healer on a Triumph Daytona 600. This is a “plug and play” connection that will take between 30 minutes to an hour depending on how well you know your Triumph Daytona. The tools you will need are a 5mm Allen wrench and a pair of pliers and a 10mm socket wrench. Let’s get started. First you will have to make sure you have everything. You should have the Speedo Healer, main wiring harness, speed recall wiring harness, and zip ties. 1/10 Next if you have a rear stand this will be the time to put your bike on its stand. If you don’t have one that is fine, but it makes life a lot easier if you do. Next you will have to remove your seat. You will need your Allen wrench and to get to the screws you have to pull back on the seat and you will see two screws, remove both of them. Then you should be able to lift and pull the seat off. Set the seat aside. 2/10
Next you will see two gold colored round spools. Use your Allen wrench to remove both of these, there is one on each side. Next you will see two tabs that are turned over the gas tank. You will need to turn these so they are not touching the gas tank. Some times you can do this by hand, but you might need to loosen it with a 10mm socket. 3/10 Next move up to the top of the gas tank next to the yoke and there will be another screw that you need to remove with your Allen wrench

Ducati SPORT TOURING HEADLIGHT UPGRADE INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove the following fairing components per the instructions in the Ducati owners manual: • Instrument surrounds • Headlight fairing • Chin fairing (under headlight/air intake) • Right-side middle fairing (covers battery) 2. Disconnect the speedometer cable from the speedometer. Unthread the ring nut at the top of the speedometer cable and retract the cable downward about 4-6 inches. 3. Disconnect the headlight wiring from the headlight bulbs. Retract the rubber boots at the rear of the headlight assembly to gain access to the wire terminals. Note that the two ¼ inch terminals at the high- beam bulb have locking clips that should be depressed before pulling the terminal away from the bulb. 4. Unplug the parking light from the headlight body by grasping the wires and carefully pulling it out. 5. Remove the two rubber plugs covering the lower headlight mounting screw access holes beneath the air intake horn. 6. Using an 8mm hex socket inserted through the lower access holes remove the two hex-head bolts securing the bottom of the headlight to the frame. 7. Using the same socket wrench, remove the two 8mm hex-head bolts securing the top of the headlight assembly to the frame. 8. Remove the headlight assembly from the frame. 9. Remove the two rubber grommets and steel reducing sleeves from the frame at the top mounting locations for the headlight. Leave the lower pair in place; these will be re-used, as shown in Figure 6
