Install Motoworks header pipe using stock nuts, finger tight at this point ( Fig 4) 2. Install Motoworks tailpipe with muffler using bolt and spacer supplied in kit on upper rear mount, use stock nut and bolt on lower mount finger tight at this point. (Fig 5 and 6) 3. Torque header pipe nuts to 1.0 kg-m ( 7.3 lb-ft ) 4. Torque tailpipe mounting bolts to 2.5 kg-m ( 18 lb-ft ) 5. Re-check all your work 6. Refer to diagram for bracket identification 1. Secure motorcycle in an upright stable position 2. Attach bracket A (left) to rear footpeg mount. 3. Attach bracket B (right) to rear footpeg mount. 4. Remove rear saddlebags. 5. Attach top of brackets C/D to saddlebag sub frame hardware as in photo. Place enclosed 3/8 spacer between brackets C/D and inside of sub frame. 6. Attach axles and wheels to MiniTrike frame and place in proper position and relation behind motorcycle. 7. Attach bracket A (left) / B (right) to TOP of forward attaching points on MiniTrike frame. 8. Attach bottom of brackets C/D to rear mounting plate on MiniTrike frame 9. Ensure MiniTrike is square with motorcycle and tighten all bolts. 10. Remount saddlebags. Wheel Alignment Wheel alignment is critical for proper tire wear and handling. With MiniTrike installed measure A and B . Loosen axle plates and align wheel so A and B are equal to within 1/16th of an inch. Tighten axle bolts and torque to 45 pounds. Repeat for C and D . It may be necessary to shim axle plates for proper alignment. NOTE : The measurement of A and B may not be the same as C and D. This is normal and presents no difficulty

The rear docking points in kit part number 90366-03 provide the rear mounting points for the Solo Rack. Insert front stud (1) through front docking point (2), fender support and into bracket underneath fender as shown. 5. Insert rear stud (1) through fender support and into bracket underneath fender as shown. 6. Install bolt (7) through fender support and into bracket underneath fender as shown. 7. Tighten front and rear studs (1) and bolt (7) to 27 ft-lbs (37 Nm) . 8. Repeat steps 1-7 on the other side of the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 1. 1988-1999 FLSTF Models: Remove rear muffler heat shield, loosen rear exhaust Torca clamp, then remove rear muffler from support following the instructions in the appropriate Service Manual. 2000 and Later Models: Remove exhaust system following the instructions in the appropriate Service Manual. NOTE In some cases, if bike has been previously serviced, the axle may have been removed and re-installed from the left side (with castle nut and cotter pin on the right). If this is the case, the axle must be removed and installed from the the right. If axle appears as original configuration (as in Figure 1), it is not necessary to loosen the rear axle nut or remove the cotter pin (or spring clip) from the rear castle nut. 2. All Models: See Figure 1. On the left side of the motorcycle, loosen the axle adjuster screw (1) and jamnut (2) just enough to be able to remove the jamnut. 3. 1988-1999 FLSTF Models Only: See Figure 2. On the right side (brake caliper side), use a T40 TORX drive to remove the two pin bolts from caliper. Remove caliper by gently rocking caliper back and forth to compress caliper piston, then carefully slide caliper off brake disc. Use cable strap or other suitable means to support caliper. 4. All Models: On the right side, loosen the axle adjuster screw and jamnut just enough to be able to remove the jamnut. 5. All Models: See Figure 3. On each side, place retainer clip (oriented as shown) and washer from kit over axle adjuster screw and replace jamnut. Remove the rear wheel per the REAR WHEEL, REMOVAL instructions in the Service Manual. 3. Disassemble, clean and inspect all parts to be re-used per Service Manual instructions. 4. Re-assemble all saved components to the new chrome rear wheel assembly. See REAR WHEEL, ASSEMBLY in the Service Manual. Do not re-use brake disc screws. Re-using disc screws can result in torque loss and damage to rotor and/or brake assembly. (00319b) 5. Fasten the brake disc to the valve stem side of the wheel using the Torx®screws from the kit. Install the compensator bowl with the 12-point screws and lockwashers saved earlier. 6. Install the new wheel to the rear fork. Refer to REAR WHEEL, INSTALLATION in the Service Manual. Proceed to Step 7. Front Wheel 2. See Figure 2. Remove the front wheel per the FRONT WHEEL, REMOVAL instructions in the Service Manual. 3. Disassemble, clean and inspect all parts to be re-used per Service Manual instructions. Mark the left and right brake discs so they can be re-installed to the same location. 4. Re-assemble all saved components to the new chrome front wheel assembly. See FRONT WHEEL, ASSEMBLY in the Service Manual. Do not re-use brake disc screws. Re-using disc screws can result in torque loss and damage to rotor and/or brake assembly. (00319b) 5. Using the Torx ® shoulder bolts from the kit, and the saved spring washers fasten the brake discs to the same side of the wheel from which they were removed. 6. Install the new wheel to the front forks per the FRONT WHEEL, INSTALLATION instructions in the Service Manual. Proceed to Step 7. Front and Rear Wheels 7. Refer to the Service Manual and follow the MAXI-FUSE instructions to replace the maxi-fuse and right-side cover. After servicing brakes and before moving motorcycle, pump brakes to build brake system pressure. Insufficient pressure can adversely affect brake performance, which could result in death or serious injury. (00279a) After servicing the brake system, test brakes at low speed. If brakes are not operating properly, testing at high speeds can cause loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00289a) Maintenance and Cleaning Chrome parts must be maintained regularly to ensure that they keep their original shine and luster. 1. Clean heavily-soiled wheel surfaces using Harley Wheel and Tire Cleaner, part number 94658-98, applied with Harley Wheel and Spoke Brush, part number 43078-99. 2. Thoroughly clean chrome with a good quality chrome cleaner, such as Harley Bright Chrome Cleaner, part number 94683-99. 3. After cleaning and polishing, seal the finish with a good quality sealer such as Harley Glaze Polish and Sealant, part number 99701-84

INSTALLATION 1. Remove the seat according to the procedure in the applicable Service Manual. To prevent accidental vehicle start-up, which could cause death or serious injury, disconnect negative (-) battery cable before proceeding. (00048a) Disconnect negative (-) battery cable first. If positive (+) cable should contact ground with negative (-) cable connected, the resulting sparks can cause a battery explosion, which could result in death or serious injury. (00049a) 2. Disconnect battery cables, negative cable first. Stop the engine when refueling or servicing the fuel system. Do not smoke or allow open flame or sparks near gasoline. Gasoline is extremely flammable and highly explosive, which could result in death or serious injury. (00002a) NOTE There are two possible methods of connecting the directional signal wires; using the 6-place connector, or by splicing the wires using connectors supplied in the kit. If the splicing method is selected, it will not be necessary to remove the fuel tank. However, the splices will be visible. Proceed to Step 4. 3. Remove the fuel tank according to the procedure in the appropriate Service Manual. 4. See Figure 1. Remove the existing right directional signal according to the procedure in the appropriate Service Manual. Save the internal-tooth lockwasher (1) and spacer (2). 5. Place the internal-tooth lockwasher (1) and spacer (2) (saved in Step 4) on the mirror shaft, and install the mirror (3) in the mounting bracket. Secure the mirror using an internal-tooth lockwasher (4) and acorn nut (5) (both supplied in the kit). If the acorn nut (5) “bottoms” without tightening, add a spacer (6) from the kit in the location shown. 6. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 for the left directional signal.

This kit fits 2002 and later VRSC model motorcycles. Kit Contents There are no Service Parts available with this kit. INSTALLATION 1. Using a suitable lift, support the vehicle beneath the frame until the rear tire is just slightly off the ground. 2. See Figure 1. Remove the right side upper shock mounting bolt (2) and spacer (4). Retain the shock mounting nut (not shown) which passes through the fender support and side rail assembly. 3. Pivot the shock towards the vertical position. 4. Remove the left side lower shock mounting bolt (1) and washer (5). 5. Pivot the shock towards the horizontal position. 6. Insure that the shocks are clear of all components and carefully lower the vehicle to provide access to the right side lower shock bolt. 7. Support the right shock and remove the lower shock mounting bolt (1), washer (5) and nut (6). 8. Position the right side cover provided in the kit over the swingarm 9. Reposition the right side shock and re-install the lower shock mounting bolt (1) and washer (5) by inserting through the shock, cover and swingarm. Thread into nut (6) and tighten to 41-68 Nm (30-50 ft-lbs)

This 45-amp Rotor Kit is designed for installation on 1999 and later FLHT, FLHTC, FLHR, FLHRI, FLHRCI and FLTR Model Motorcycles. Existing Rotor Removal 1. Remove seat and disconnect battery terminals, negative cable first. 2. Follow instructions in applicable Service Manual and remove the primary chaincase cover. Remove the clutch, primary chain, compensating sprocket and shaft extension as a single assembly. 3. Remove the alternator rotor spacer, if present. Installation The laminated high-output rotor in this kit contains magnets that are considerably more powerful than those used in most previous rotors. The ROTOR REMOVER/INSTALLER and SHAFT PROTECTOR SLEEVE (HD-41771) must be used to prevent parts damage during rotor removal and installation. 1. See Figure 1. Verify threads are clean and thread the Shaft Protector and Rotor Remover/Installer, if removed. NOTE The Shaft Protector Sleeve not only protects the threads from the splines of the rotor, but acts as a guide to ensure that the rotor is properly centered. 2. Turn thumbscrews of Rotor Remover/Installer into threaded holes in rotor face. CAUTION 1 WARNING 1 WARNING 1 WARNING Kit Number 29999-97B Figure 1. Install Rotor Remover/Installer i04153 Handle Thumbscrew Forcing screw . Center ball on forcing screw in recess at end of engine sprocket shaft. Rotate the handle of the tool in a counterclockwise direction to ease rotor into position over stator. 4. Loosen thumbscrews and remove Rotor Remover/Installer. Remove Shaft Protector Sleeve. 5. Install the shaft extension on engine sprocket shaft. No alternator rotor spacer is necessary). 6. Follow instructions in applicable Service Manual and install the clutch assembly, primary chain and shaft extension as a single assembly. 7. Apply two drops of Red LOCTITE®262 to threads of clutch nut and engine sprocket nut. Tighten nuts as fol- lows: Clutch nut- (left hand threads), 70-80 ft-lbs (94.9-105.5 Nm) Engine sprocket nut- 150-165 ft-lbs (203-223 Nm). 8. Follow instructions in Service Manual and install the Primary Chaincase Cover using new gasket from kit, if necessary.

INSTALLATION 1. Refer to service manual and remove the existing seat. 2. See Figure 2. Install the frame cover (9) to the frame and secure with fastener (4). Orient the frame cover to so that it covers the seat pan. 3. Install two springs (2) to the mounting bracket (1), oriented as shown, with screws (3). Tighten screws to 25-30 ft-lbs (34-41 Nm) . 4. Install mounting bracket to frame as follows: a. Remove two screws from the rear of the seat pan area where the spring seat mounting bracket (1) will be mounted. Save washers for later installation. b. Install mounting bracket (1) to the frame over the frame cover. Orient the frame cover so that it will be retained by the mounting bracket when secured. c. Secure the left side of the mounting bracket to the frame with a screw (7), stock washer (B) and spacer (8). Do not tighten. d. Secure the right side of the mounting bracket to the frame with a screw (7) and stock washer (B). e. Tighten mounting bracket screws to 90-108 in-lbs (10-12 Nm) . 5. Install seat pivot bracket (10), washers (15) and screws (5) to the seat. Tighten screws to 48-72 in-lbs (5.5-8.0 Nm) . 6. Remove the rear fuel tank mounting screw, washers, nut and thread protector. Save washers for later installation

INSTALLATION 1. Remove existing front wheel assembly. Save axle, axle nut, brake disc and wheel spacers for kit installation. Discard moon-style hub cap on FLSTC and FLSTN models. Discard left side spacer on FXSTS models and tapered spacer on FXSTD models. Refer to FRONT WHEEL in Service Manual. Do not re-use brake disc screws. Re-using disc screws can result in torque loss and damage to rotor and/or brake assembly. (00319b) 2. See Figure 1. Install valve stem assembly (D) on wheel. Refer to TIRES in Service Manual. 3. Assemble wheel installation kit components and brake disc(s) to wheel, using the appropriate service parts table. Refer to FRONT WHEEL in Service Manual. NOTE Install primary bearing first using the applicable Service Manual and WHEEL BEARING REMOVER/INSTALLER. Kit 44550-07: The left side of the wheel has a groove machined in the hub to identify it as the disc side for installation, as well as the primary bearing side. The wheel should be installed so that the valve stem is on the right side of the motorcycle. Kits 44660-07 and 44661-07: The wheel should be installed so that the hub markings are on the left side of the motorcycle. An arrow engraved into the rim of 44661-07 indicates the direction of rotation. A groove is machined in the left-side hub face to indicate the primary bearing side. • Dual-disc models: Install the brake discs according to the Service Manual procedures. The Chrome hub cap (2) is not used. • Single-disc models: Install the brake disc according to the Service Manual procedures. Install the chrome hub cap (2) on the side opposite the brake disc. Kit 44660-07: The gross axle weight rating is unaffected by the installation of this wheel on a vehicle originally equipped with 21-inch wheels. Kit 44661-07: The gross axle weight rating is unaffected by the installation of this wheel on a vehicle originally equipped with 19-inch wheels. Kit 44552-08: The left side of the wheel has a groove machined in the hub to identify it as the left side for installation, as well as the primary bearing side.
